 Capcom has announced at Tokyo Game Show 2015 that its upcoming role-playing game Monster Hunter Stories will be adapted into a TV anime and broadcast on Fuji TV in 2016. Stories, which is also scheduled for release on the Nintendo 3DS in 2016, is a spin-off work of the popular action role-playing game series Monster Hunter.Another spin-off work, MonHun Nikki Poka Poka Airou Mura, was adapted into two flash anime shorts in Summer 2010 and Summer 2011. I'm actually interested in playing the game (provided it actually gets localized), but I don't know about an anime adaptation, I guess it's to early to say though. |

| Not the kind of Monster Hunter anime I envisioned but I might give it a shot. I wish I never lost interest in this series but I just never liked the transition to nintendo. I played MH3 Wii and MH3U on 3DS but I couldn't keep playing any longer even with friends. I miss the good ole' days of playing MHF2 and MHFU on PSP. I probably won't play again unless they miraculously release on Sony systems (to which I highly doubt would happen). |

| Tried this on TGS, original MonHun is still better but this one is really fun in its own way. Will probably check the anime later |

| It's fantastic that a good series like Monster Hunter gets a childish anime based on a spin-off and instead a mediocre series like God Eater gets a decent anime. |
