If we're not going with common Japanese names then I guess female characters from AU/Fantasy settings. Hmm. It's hard to remember when you really think about it. Uhh.

Rinslet, Euphemia, Kino. (Okay, that's not a female name but... yeah...)

That's stupid. This topic is kinda stupid too, they're just Japanese names that hold no significance unless we can recognize the name to an anime character.

NO! I SAID IT'S STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You could at least make a topic that encourages discussion and actually might have some relevance to our anime viewing pleasure. I'm glad the thread has kinda turned into a discussion of flaming than mindless and uninteresting lists of random japanese names that could really just be consonants and vowels jammed next to each other, like Hazuki...wait... well, yeah Japanese names are nice and all but as far as anime goes they're just names not things to rank on a scale of one to ten.

Anyway, I love the name Aoi - I think it's so pretty.

No point yelling up a stupid thread. Just ignore it if you don't like it.
Anyway, I like the name Shinobu.

ANd besides, japanese names aren't random rows of konsonants and vocals. They're actual japanese words. Aoi means blue ;)

PWND

And if you WERE in japan (as your profile states) you'd know that everyones name means, looks, or resembles something.
Hikaru = to shine, to be bright
Sora = sky
Orihime = princess of fate (or chance)
Hazuki = anticipated exception (very lose translation from hiragana)

はずき you mean? edit; lol, seems the forums turns hiragana into codes :/
that reads Hazuki, so it's quite correct not loosely translated :P

Dude I love you Avatar I have one that says F you on it with a picture of the middle finger. Anyways.

I can tell you right now this forum is not dying, this is one of the most active forums I have been on!?!

And as for the anime names:

Shinobu
Motoko
Naru
Sakura
Yuki (there is a Yuki is almost every anime)
Haku (I SWEAR TO GOD HE IS A GIRL)
Senn (I am not sure if that is right, but it is the girls name from Spirted Away.)
Mitsune
Tsunade
Ino
Hinata (Yes the one from Naruto, I have also noticed that her and Shinobu Mirahara from Love Hina and Love Hina again share very very close resembliances)
Mutsumi (Also from Love Hina)
Haruka (Also from Love Hina)
Kanako (A name I just came up with)
