| While it is similar to Death Note I think Code Geass stands on it's own two feet with the style, atmosphere and action. Death Note was always gloomy and dark, in the good way mind you, while I can't really put my finger on it in Code Geass. It's suspense in the same way Death Note was but it also speaks to the action fanboy in me, not to mention that C.C is way better than Ryuk/Misa. All in all Death Note and Code Geass are two awesome sides of the same delicious coin. This show is moving at a really fast pace, not that really I mind though. C.C is back and now I want pizza. |

| I can't keep up with all these new characters and royal family members :| I really like Euphie though, she's super cute. CC is kinda weird, I'm not sure of my feelings so far. Suzaku transferring to Lelouch's class is sure to bring some excitement. The plot's getting kinda confusing but I'm sure it'll make sense soon. |

I still find the story pretty confusing and in the same time Im starting to fall in love with it, I feel like this anime will be epic. | I finally decided to take CG off my on-hold list, it's been there for too long. And after watching Gundam Seed, Euphie reminds me a little of Lacus, maybe it's because of her pink hair lol, or maybe because they both come off as a little airy in the beginning and then they become serious. I'm hoping I'll like Lelouch one day, because he's the main I reason I stopped watching. For some reason, I just don't like him that much...but FukuJun makes it all better :) But it's getting more interesting than the first 4 episodes, like Suzaku going to Lelouch's school now (lol who knew? :P) |

| To be honest, I don't give a crap about Suzaku. He really annoys me a lot with his ideals. I want Lelouch and his twisted sense of justice to win. Lelouch reminds me so much of Light. I see why Death Note and Code Geass have been recommend as similar animes. At first I thought it wasn't similar at all because this was mecha and about a war. But now that I'm further into it, it's all a big mind game and it's so nice to see it play out. It's an intellectual game of cat and mouse. But I fear, like Light, Lelouch will become mad at the end and will somehow die. |

| This episode was truly amazing. C.C. appeared more than in the beginning. And then there was the battle of robots, which was awesome. Not to talk about Euphemia revealing that she was the third princess of britain. |

Light is in SOME WAYS more developed than Lelouch BECAUSE he had no reason to be a vicious jerk. Light is essentially a textbook example of a sociopath, and his immature view of what defines good and evil leaves me strong reasons to believe he's stuck in the first level of Lawrence Kohlberg's stages of moral development, with some inclinations towards the second level. He's essentially a little kid who was given a toy he never should've been given. And his immaturity is not only what gives him a "reason" to be a vicious jerk, but it's also what makes him such an interesting character. Of course, he's not as awesome as Lulu. The fact that Lelouch is actually a very honorable human who accomplishes his goals in questionable ways is really the only thing that sets the two apart, and it's exactly why I'll always love Lulu. |
