I tried to keep my expectations low since Oda-sensei is a first time screenwriter but he really layed-out an excitingly fluid plot and amazing set pieces. It was a wonderful movie-going experience! |

Even if you're not a fan of One Piece, just the quality of the animation in the opening scene alone should be enough to merit the price of a ticket. |

| Great animation , decent music, subpar plot and Luffy going TTGL. Something to watch and forget with time. It would prolly be best to watch it in the cinema (visuals). With brain off it was quite enjoyable ride, 7/10 |

| kinda disappointed. the animals were retarded. the flying chicken people were retarded. the sounds were retarded, especially Shiki's legs and the footsteps of the "clown". King Kong scene and somehow an E.T. scene with brook. Too many costume changes, although the last ones were n1...but kinda overdid it there with the weapons. The enemies were weak. Shiki is pretty retarded. Even he had to know that electricity is ineffective against rubber and why the hell did he "rescue" Luffy from the water. 'Legend'....wait for it...pirate, my ass. Don't wait for the 'dary'. One good thing about the movie, Robin with glasses. ;) |

| Fun movie, remind me of Arlong Arc. It was nice to see them in some new outfits. Luffy in that coat look like Shanks. |

| Awesome movie :D Animation was brilliant! :O I couldn't get my eyes off ^^ Movies often have one weak point - story. But not this one :D The story was really good, not amazing and incredible and f*cking awesome but I liked it ;] However it felt little rushed at some time but this feeling quickly dissapeared ;p Characters... Luffy was epic in this movie :D Sanji and Brook cracked me up xD Nami was... well like Nami ^^ I liked Shiki, he was cruel etc but also funny xD "Perm?!" xD But! He had no strong followers for others to beat up -_- This movie lacked of it. Wth some crazy scientist with annoying boots and king kong... oh well. Other chars weren't standing out, well mabe Chopper and Usopp had their five minutes but Zoro, Robin and Franky were invisible (well Robin not *_* xD ). Right, clothes! Nami was *nosebleed* yeeeaah... and Robin with glasses and that outfit looked really cute ;3 And then those clothes at the party with guns, nice :D I don't remember music so it must means that it fitted well xD But I liked ending very much :] 9/10 maybe in time it will drop to 8 but never lower ;p |

| This was pretty good. There were a few scenes that I thought could have been done better, but the storyline was decent, and the action sequences were cool to watch. Loved how Sanji understood gorilla. XD |

| Actually, quite a bad movie. I'm stunned that this is a story by Oda. I suppose he had very little decisional power over this one because I don't know how else to justify all this mess. What is this film? Simple: it's absolutely the same as all the other shounen-movie out there. You know the problems of those kinds of movies. You need to put an all long arc in 1.30-2hrs, so it's all so rushed. Maybe you'd think that being Shiki a character related to Roger would make him an intresting guy. Of course not. He is your absolutely transparent villain with no personality that comes, kidnaps a random crew member (never seen that before!), beats our heroes and then gets beaten in return. End of the story. They really needed Oda to pull out this shit? From a tecnical standpoint, the movie also doesn't impress. Bad QUALITY everywhere with disproportioned characters, bad animations and intrusive CG. There's a couple of nice animated scenes near the end but that's all. 5/10, try harder. |

| I was expecting more from this movie because Oda wrote the story, but in the end it didn't live up to it's hype IMO. It could have been better. There were some boring parts, specially at the beginning, and I expected more from the Luffy VS Shiki battle. But it was a good movie overall, I enjoyed it. |
| I did expect a bit more from the fights to be honest, but I gotta say...GIANT THOR AXE...fuckin' epic. There were some things I was expecting a bit more from it, especially with Oda behind it, but I think it's because this movie had been so incredibly hyped up. Don't get me wrong, it was still great, and definitely the best OP movie yet. I really enjoyed waching it. 9/10. |

| Damn EPIC movie!!! >.< The animation was just too brilliant. Loved the part where Luffy and Shiki were fighting in midair. That was just too awesome. And Luffy's "Gigant Thor Axe....epic... Definately the best movie of OP yet~ |
