THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was one of the best bits of One Piece I have ever seen. I tried to keep my expectations low since Oda-sensei is a first time screenwriter but he really layed-out an excitingly fluid plot and amazing set pieces. It was a wonderful movie-going experience! Even if you're not a fan of One Piece, just the quality of the animation in the opening scene alone should be enough to merit the price of a ticket. |

Great animation , decent music, subpar plot and Luffy going TTGL. Something to watch and forget with time. It would prolly be best to watch it in the cinema (visuals). Finally its been subbed. :D All I have say is what a great movie. The animation is superb and good plot. I have to say it really tied in great with the One Piece universe.      |

I ♥ Biri :D Really a great movie, it had every aspect I love so much about One Piece. Funny as hell, heart-warming and exciting <3 Only the sound of that scientist's shoes was getting a bit annoying, but that's just me XD |

kinda disappointed. the animals were retarded. the flying chicken people were retarded. the sounds were retarded, especially Shiki's legs and the footsteps of the "clown". King Kong scene and somehow an E.T. scene with brook. Too many costume changes, although the last ones were n1...but kinda overdid it there with the weapons. The enemies were weak. Shiki is pretty retarded. Even he had to know that electricity is ineffective against rubber and why the hell did he "rescue" Luffy from the water. 'Legend'....wait for it...pirate, my ass. Don't wait for the 'dary'. One good thing about the movie, Robin with glasses. ;) |
