According to Weekly Shonen Jump 2010 vol.2 (official release date Dec 14th), Bakuman. will be announced to get a TV anime adaptation. It will be aired next autumn. Source: Scan of WSJ Story by Haylias and sekida Updated on Dec 11 According to Natalie, the staff and the studio are as follows: Series Length: 25 episodes Directors: Kasai Kenichi and Akitaya Noriaki (episode director of "Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch") Series Organizer: Yoshida Reiko Production Studio: J.C. I don't think it'll be as good as the manga. I can't see an anime talking about this (I didn't think that they'd do a manga about mangakas either). Well, after the delusion I had with 07 ghost, I think I'm gonna keep only reading!!! |

The manga is so strait forward and boring... It follows the "we can win if we really really try" formula far to closely. The manga itself already feels too light-hearted, and rather rushed. I don't think an anime adaptation could do justice to, or improve Bakuman in any way. |
