What manga are you currently reading, and what are your thoughts about it? I most recently started reading Bloody Monday. The story was actually kind of different from what I expected, and I say that in a positive sense, as I am liking it so far. It's good to see there are imperfections in the main characters, and I am loving the author's sense of humour. |

I'm currently reading Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. I'm enjoying it but I am having a hard time really getting into it seeing as how it is very different from what I've read in the past. Odd thing is, though while I find it a very slow read while I'm actually reading it, with every chapter I finish, I take a second to just sit back and reflect upon it. It's like there is little progression but I don't mind it one bit. First of this kind of manga I've read but it won't be the last. |

I'm currently reading Shin Angyo Onshi, everyone rated it a masterpiece so i started to read it too out of curiosity, but i didn't catch the flavor of this one yet. Well anyways, if it's That good, i'll be hooked sooner or later. The other one i'm reading(in school, yep manga for home and manga for when yer' bored with all that crap in school) is Blade of the Immortal. It was a slow start for me, but now I love it! It's action packed, still has something to say and has that old type of comic-humor, like when the main character is dying from a deadly wound, the next day he stands infront of the enemy fully healed, and the enemy says: "-You were dying yesterday, how'd ya heal so fast?!" "-Granny's chickensoup?Dunno." |

I'm about to start Angel Densetsu. I just finished Haru yo, koi (in 2 days, I think it's a new speed-reading record of mine), and I recently started Kimi no Iru Machi (really good). |

I'm currently reading Fullmetal Alchemist, xXxHOLiC, Bakuman Loveless and Naruto as are published... The first three are my highest priority, I love them, and it seems that two of them (the first two) are close to the ending. The only problem is that those two are published once a month so I'm in constant suffering T__T Idk, I must be masochist or something... Two excelent mangas that you will NEVER regret to read! Loveless and Naruto are great too. Although, Naruto' story is going to far and sometimes gets a little boring, and Loveless publishes like once every 3 months (I'm not sure). But, putting that aside, the stories are interesting. In lower priority, I'm following Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, Ouran Host Club and Persona 3 and 4. Since the first two are comedy/piece of life mangas, one can read them slowly as entertainment. The last two, does not have consistent publish dates and, since are manga adaptation of the games, I already know the stories, so read them when I remember xD And I just start with Super-Conductivity Brains, Claymore and Versailles no Bara. Neither in high priority, since I already saw the animes -except for Super-Conductivity Brains which hasn't one- and I have less time than ever because of my finals TTwTT But I already read each's first chapter and they are very, very interesting!! Even more than the animes (if applicable) and I can't wait for my finals to end so I can jump on this jewels ^^ ![]() '~._A'le~en~Ciel_.~' |

Oh, I forgot to mention One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach lol. I always forget I'm reading those due to them being ongoing. |

I'm currently reading Sanctuary and nearly done with it. I've been thoroughly enjoying it. And I don't really have an opinion one way or another about politics, but the way they go about it in the manga, makes me interested in it. I don't think there's any wrong turns in this manga and the art is fabulous. Those are pluses for me. |

Um, well....I'm reading quite a but but my latest is Soul Eater!!!! No where done with it, but I'm watching the anime as well and am loving both of them. The art is much different than other mangas I've ever read, but it is a good read. All the characters are lovable in their own way, but I do think that the story started pretty fast. But I really need to stop reading new mangas and finish Hana-Kimi and Darker than Black |

I started this new one that I spotted while looking at the releases on MU. It's called Kogan no Mouten. It's a mystery manga, but a little different. From the beginning, you already know who the killer is. An inspector points out who it is and throughout the chapter, the killer is plotting. The inspector also points out (for this particular crime), the killer made 6 mistakes and asks, "Can you find out what those mistakes are?" Already from that, it's interesting. The art's pretty good. I don't much about the characters since it didn't focus on them much. But I'm excited for more. |

I'm mostly reading Monster now (inbetween reading for exams and writing reports) and even though I still haven't read half of it, one thing caught my eye from the start. Aside from the story being twisted and all, though 98% of the characters are German (or not Asian at least) and are drawn like non-Asians and so on, some of them are given an extremely Japanese way of speaking :D. I find it funny how Japanese mangaka make Germans use Japanese expressions :P Anyways, the story is just getting interested and is quite promising, but I'll see when I read the whole thing ^^. |

I just finished reading Astral Project. Took me a while to get the last volume, and I must say... I didn't see that ending coming. I really liked the art style and some of the things the author(s) had to say, but it somehow felt a bit lacking in the end. I am still very glad I got to read it. And I started reading HEN a couple of days ago. It seemed surprisingly interesting, I'm looking forward to finishing it. |

I am currently reading 20th Century Boys. It is so long... So far I was enjoying it but I am only in half of it and it already seems repetitive to me. |

Finally read Nijigahara Holograph. Was nothing like what I expected, and honestly I am still confused about what exactly happened. Very artistic, original and gruesome, though. edit: started on Genshiken, loving it so far. edit2: also started on Hot Gimmick; best shoujo I've come across so far Modified by georgi, 02-04-10, 12:54 PM |

Finished reading Fuan no Tane couple of days (nights) ago. A very creepy series of short stories, but I liked it. Still can't find enough courage to look into mirrors or the dark corners of my house though ^^;;;; |
