Also, is it ok to submit Tama From Binbougami Ga? I saw lots of animals being rejected, but she's not exactly an animal, so...

Regarding Air, it wasn't exactly revealed that Sora is Yukito, but rather implied that Sora inherited (a part of) Yukito's soul or memory. That's why we won't merge the character entries. Additionally, we would end up with a decent mess of voice actor roles if we did.

Regarding Binbougami Ga, you may submit Tama. We don't outright refuse to add animals as character entries. It depends on their role, whether they are silent or actually talk, etc.

Takahashi Kazue is in the db for what role exactly?

Ok, never mind. Apparently someone submitted her but no one has added any characters with her as a seiyuu since none of it is in MAL's db. She's got quite a number of voice roles:

Sorry if I'm being offensive or anything, but WHO APPROVES CHARACTER EDITS? DO THEY EVEN WATCH/READ THE ANIME/MANGA THE CHARACTER IS IN?
It's the second time i get an enormous spoiler from a CHARACTER NAME!
First some random person submits The Count of Montecristo as , which is a gigantic spoiler for the anime.
Now I enter Pandora Hearts' entry and what do I find?

Can the Edits be done by someone who ACTUALLY KNOWS what he's doing?
I don't care if it takes longer to approve the edits, I just want to keep being on MAL without being scared of opening any entry I haven't finished!
Sorry for the rant, it's just that I want MAL to be a place for anime fans to have fun and find only the informations they want when they want. There are enough spoilers in every single line of the Wikipedia pages, let's not make this happen here as well, Thanks.

And yes, you are clearly ranting here, so just calm down. Your concerns about spoilers are being noted by the mod team.

From my personal experience, users usually take good care of hiding necessary parts of the characters bio under spoiler tag themselves, or they submit fixes with explanations provided if they notice visible spoilers.
After all, moderators, even as a group can't be knowledgeable about everything and there is always a possibility for an error. Especially with the ever growing amount of edits and additions coming in every day.

Internet and databases are full of spoilers and while MAL isn't looking to become a second Wikipedia it's not a kindergarten either, no one is going to hold you by the hand everytime you step outside your profile page to wonder around MAL.

So, if you notice a spoiler again, than just submit an edit with an explanation, and moderator will take care of it.
