I'm pleased to announce a recent development for MyAnimeList. As of today, MAL will be partnering with DAISUKI.net (Anime Consortium Japan Inc. (ACJ.)) This is extremely exciting for the MAL team as it represents our entrance into video streaming! We won't have ACJ's entire list of anime titles available at the start of this partnership, but the first to stream are Idol Master Cinderella Girls and God Eater with Japanese audio and English subtitles.

Also, we were quiet about this at the beginning of the year, but I'm happy to finally say that since January 2015, we're officially owned and maintained by DeNA Co., Ltd (DeNA.) DeNA (pronounced D-N-A) has been hard at work behind the scenes maintaining our growing userbase and implementing new features throughout MAL.

More details can be found at the official DeNA press release here: http://dena.com/intl/press/2015/07/dena-and-anime-consortium-japan-to-stream-anime-through-myanimelist.html

Before, I was only hoping that we'll get partnered with at least one of the 2 leading sites today through affiliate links or hotlinks. But who knew that MAL will be hosting its own? :D

Great news! MAL has been improving quite a lot recently. For now, it's DAISUKI and next could be Crunchyroll or some other major anime/manga related websites.

Looking forward to the upcoming features!

Ohh this is pretty interesting, MAL streaming could work pretty well! I wonder what the video player will be like? So I guess MAL isn't part of Crave anymore huh? Very excited to see these changes if they're for the better!

ACJ plans to increase the number of titles accessible through MyAnimeList as embedded video or hyperlinks; however, the videos will not be accessible from Japan.

Quite interesting indeed, though somewhat of a bummer to the Japanese users I guess. I never thought I'd live to see the day that this would happen~

I don't know what kind of quality/assortment daisuki has, but I might as well take a look at it later :3
For those who seek perfection, there can be no rest on this side of the grave.
Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

nice, CrunchyRoll is partnered with Anime-Planet, now MAL is partnered directly with the japanese studios through Daisuki, this is great news for MAL but that may also mean no more discussion of fansubs on the forums and the fansubs section might go away in the near future

Daisuki is the worst of the streaming companies but still satisfied with it. Only used Daisuki to stream Monogatari Second Season since CR didn't have it at the time, but I was still very satisfied with the video player and quality.

but its better to support Daisuki though since they are directly made by the anime studios from japan

and im surprise that DeNa company is japanese so MAL is technically owned by Japan now

My thoughts exactly.

Not effected myself, as HD torrents are the only way to go for a complete experience.

Nice to see one more feature expansion.

Daisuki doesn't require a subscription, it just has ads. Quality isn't limited either last time I checked.

Daisuki is free. Non-members are limited to 480p. Upon registration, which is also free, you can stream it on 1080p.
The streams won't be available in Japan.

There's no such thing as full HD anime as they air. Watching non-airing anime on a streaming site on the other hand is just... torrents win, again.

Good for MAL I guess, but I can't say I'll ever use it since I'm not a fan of Daisuki's streaming services and their quality in their subtitles.

...Plus I don't stream.
