| I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU BADMOUTH MY WAIFU much, much better than the first episode. Not that the first episode was bad, but this one successfully capitalized on everything introduced in episode 1. I liked it a lot. I love how it's portraying the differences in modern military and ancient military power while also portraying the differences in military tactics. Very cool. The fantasy touch is neat too. |

| I loved it. fast paced story and some funny moments. You don't have to wait 5 episodes beforse something important happens :) The king seems like a really evil guy. His daughter might be the one to save him from it. I wonder what the story of the elf is. Overall 9/10 |

That part was EPIC!!!!!!! It's has a great balance of comedy and seriousness. Although it feels like they throw a lot of information at you all at once. Loved the military feel to the anime and the military tactics they use. Also the King's a Douche, already hate his ass. Great episode 5/5, The Op and ED songs are starting to grow on me as well |

| So the emperor is just a scumbag by nature. He'd rather use the invasion to cull his own people than to unite them. Still, it was that much more satisfactory to see the JSDF kick the Empire's ass albeit I don't think it'll remain one sided much longer. This is really starting to give me those Outbreak Company vibes with the objectives of providing aid to the villages and improving relations with the locals. |

| I'm starting to like Byzantian and Machiavellian games the Emperor thinks he's playing, and it seems to be the same case for the USA on this side of the Gate (which is nothing new, either in reality or in fiction). The greatly outnumbered but more advanced barbarians (the JSDF, of course LOL) will inevitably win by sheer firepower alone even if their equipments are old issue. I'm waiting till they field the mechas to the other world. ROTFLMAO Arnus Hill is their holy ground? Must be because of the Gate? |

| Some parts if this world's kingdom is revealed, seems interesting. Maybe the armies that did not participate in the war and knew it was all the imperial's doing might join the JSDF? That'll be cool! I just love how the JSDF decimates hundred thousand the armies that tried to attack them. They all legit get REKTD by some tanks, guns with tracers and some artillery rain. If America or other superpowers come her with the nukes, jets and some other military weapons, they might be able to conquer this world (Except if they have some OP magic that is effective against those kinds of things) |

| I want to see more of the other side and what that king is up to. I wonder what both sides will continue to do considering there are people that think the Japan force are invaders when they invaded Japan in the first place. Obviously more peaceful adventures like this group has been doing will show the "others" that we are not all horrible invaders, so I'm interested in how that might sway things as their adventures go on. I was expecting the "other" armies to be useless against the Japanese army but I still found it a tad bit funny and really overkill lol, they got obliterated reeeaaal bad. |

Surely the knowledge of ranged weapons like bows, crossbows, trebuchets, ballistas, catapults, etc. would give them some idea that these contraptions that fire metal projectiles aren't the product of mages and wizardry. |
