That's a shit load of casualties... Episode has a lot more fantasy themes than the previous. They're not making light of this show's war themes D:  I think the show sort of capture the violence of franchise but toned it down still. Nice to see Tuka though for a moment at the end. |

| The differences between the manga and LN are becomming even more apparent via the anime =o Lots of exposition in this episode combined with the war themes that were set up early on.....Even though the violence is toned down, the anime still managed to at least capture the aspect of the deaths....The death toll was at 120k O_O Art and animation hasn't decreased in quality yet from what I saw so that's a plus and finally we get introduced to girl #1 :D Can't wait to see how they handle the next episode though since I think a certain graphic scene should be in it Overall great episode |
| It's still very similar to the manga but i have to say it's very nicely done. And like the manga it's less rushed that the first episode and chapter here is where things are getting interesting. Well the Empire was lucky the got Japan, if the invaded Russia or America then the Empires Capital would have fallen in just a few days seeing as that's the first thing they would have gone too. There isn't much need to scout and such seeing as their isn't much to oppose them. |

| Hot damn those armies got absolutely annihilated. Sort of felt bad for a bit there but meh. I'm over it. I really enjoyed the war themes and the corrupted politics, but the it felt a bit slow for me. |

| I swear seeing the enemies drop their jaws to the floor as they see their men get nuked the fuck out just puts a huge smile in my face, no idea why this is so satisfying. They just keep going. Lost 100,000 men? Who cares, send another 100,000, that'll get them. This was a great episode, so much potential in this series, especially with the scumbag king, I hope it has a good focus on the cast and how they help the villages and whatnot later, this episode already had a nice amount of that, really looking forward to that. Even with the 3 femMCs the cast is actually very balanced if you count the military and the girls in the military are super cute too, I just hope the cast is put to good use. I think the military here is being shown as a bit too good "let's go make friends with the villagers" and whatnot but I'll take over the slighest annoyance so it's perfectly fine as is. I also find it funny that the US president is the scumbag guy on our side who just wants to exploit the other side of the gate, pretty funny indeed. I also just kinda realized he looks a bit like Donald Trump and now I can't stop laughing, this is what you'll get when you vote for him. The king's daugther is best girl. That moment when A-1 makes a better dragon than Silver Link... |

| Awesome episode! Really loved the explosions and the sense of desperation the Roman-like people are going through. And then there's our main crew just wandering around making friends. I love it and can't wait for next week's ep! |
| 120k losses on enemy side. That's pretty cool. Lots of misunderstanding on both sides where they keep on retaliating without making a peace treaty about not passing the gate to the other world. I like how those enemies army were annihilated because they never seen the military weapons. I really like how these things happening like walk into landmines, flares, and traps. LOL the US side about resources is so true. Except the part that they don't want to take the FREEDOM act! So much name in Recon Team Three that I don't bother to remember. No one can talk bad about my waifu! No one! So one of the main girl already appeared, but this time not in a vision. When is the gothic loli? Came here for the gothic loli lol. |

| Damn the Allied Kingdom's Army experienced a shitload of casualties. It seems like the gore was toned down because I didn't see much (or any) blood around the corpses. Oh well, still a decent episode |

| Really satisfied with this second episode. Going to give it another 1 or 2 but I'm almost positive that this could be a pretty good anime. Really liked on how they portrayed how technological advancements can single handily win a war. Which LN readers can you tell me if both girls introduced will be prominent to the main plot? |

| I enjoyed this episode much more than the first. Nice exposition, the demonstration of how technology > numbers. The whole America wanting to go in for resources was too accurate lol. That's the whole reason America went into Iraq in the first place, for oil. Seeing the politics of it all was nice. The protesters kinda reminded of the ones during the Vietnam War. Overall great episode. |

Since Duran barely got past the first perimeter before the last of his army had a date with machine gun fire and mortars. :PDamn the self defense force experienced a shitload of casualties. | Really liked this episode, Japan's force is too op, the other guys don't even know what they are dealing with. Looks like we will finally met one of the girls from the op, possibly a main girl. Looking forward to it! |
| Murica!!!! Medieval times got nothing on Freedom and democracy :D That emperor is one hell of an asshole O_o Much better than ep1. Really liked it adaption wise too. Itami is such a chill commander ^^; Kuribayashi <3 Her design is heaven and earth different but she's looking nice here too I guess...in a different way :P The Dragon CG actually looked awesome :O And Nxt ep Rory!!!! | Hmm... I was suspecting something different while originally finding out what this anime was about combination of current era and fantasy world and a harem with random stereotype fantasy characters. So far though the first two episodes were about modern warfare recking the fantasy world (as it should as while magic is usually overpowered, fireballs are slower than gun shot by much, not even mentioning the melee fighters). There are also hints of politics as well, like that emperor/king send his allies to death so their army potential become lesser as his (emperor's) army was defeated earlier in the first ep. Really good, really good. Then again I like the protagonist quite a lot as well. (even only slightly but still reminds me of Yang Wenli - well at least his lazy parts, of not always being good commander but generally he also considers the situation he is in) Generally really series so far and I really I didn't expect it to like this. |
| While I understand the king wanting to send troops from the countries around him so they are less of a treat to his country, I don't understand how he's not scared about the JSDF going after him in his castle, unless he really thinks he's safe there, which is kinda silly considering you just lost hundreds of thousands of men without touching the enemy. |

| Damn, the Medieval armies got owned so bad! I was hoping Duran would somehow come up with effective strategies against the JSDF, but he also got taken out in no time. Total one-sided ownage. I don't get how the King is more concerned about the neighboring counties than the JSDF attacking the nation. That wasn't very clear to me. Like the balance of focus between the modern and medieval time and how both sides are going about their plans. Nice touch of politics going on here. Decent episode. Elf girl spotted. Looks like the Goth-loli will make her debut next week. |

| Wow this episode went by fast. Already forgot everything that happened except that the fantasy world's army got rekt'd & they found an elf girl at the end. Guess this anime doesn't leave much of an impression on me and ain't a bit memorable. |
