| Romance: Kanon (2006), Ef - A tale of memories/melodies - Simply really good romance Ecchi: Bakemonogatari - Ecchi with an actual story, and god like VA's Magical Girl: Madoka Magica - Most people have watched this but it's not as most MG shows Action: Hunter x Hunter (2011), Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012), Samurai Flamenco - All of them are really fun action shows, and are really worth watching Comedy: Daily Life of Highschool Boys, Working!! - Firt one is just hilarious and Working!! is just very good Psychological: Death Billards/Parade - I usually don't even watch stuff like this but this movie and show was extremely good Drama: Durarara!!, School Days - Durarara!! might just be me fanboying it because it was one of my first anime but I think it's very good, and School Days is really unique and is REALLY a must watch |

| Battle Shonen : RuroKen. RuroKen is, by far, the best battle shonen I've watched to date. The only reason I didn't give it a full 10 is because they didn't animate the Jinchuu arc. Sci-Fi : Shinsekai Yori. Words cannot accurately describe how amazing it is, but I'll try. Think amazing characters, in an amazing setting, with beautiful visuals and an absolutely brilliant plot. You've probably thought of something almost half as good as SSY. Romance : Hotarubi no Mori e. Proof that happy endings aren't always the best endings.... and the best damn romance I've ever watched. |
