| What's with the title though? "Gangsta" is probably the worst title used in a form of entertainment involving criminal gangs and shit unless it includes constant use of rap songs and break-dancing black guys. |

| Samurai champloo my all time favourite anime I never really found another anime like it and trust I have tried then gangsta comes along, the mellow soundtrack, the badass characters and the feel of the slums is what really gets to me I am so hyped for this I might just burst |

| Interesting premiere. Gangsta is perfect for Manglobe, considering what the have done in the past. Now with that being said, the animation can get really wonky at times. Not going to complain since Gangsta is an action-oriented anime and MG may be saving their budget for special occasions. |
| Nick's a beast! I love him and his badass-ness already. And I really how he's not a silent character just to be cool. He's a bit aggressively playful too. Love the sign language (I don't recall another series ever using it) and Barry's imperfect speech which is very well done, shows that they did a bit of research and it's quite unique. Props to the creator and anime staff. (I mean, the names of some the characters show it all too. Worick!) I also like the attempt it makes to create the vibe you might get from an American action flick (a bit crude, and guns + girls/prostitutes), but it is still distinctly Japanese. Barry fights with a katana as proof. The OP/ED are not English and in this case I kind of wish they were just for the effect of establishing the mood, but the OP sequence really catches my attention anyways. Good stuff. |

| Okay episode. Only moderately hyped for this,cause setting expectations too high for this will likely lead to this becoming a disappointment if it fails to fulfill said high expectations. So far Nicolas is my favorite character among the trio.Really like how mysterious he is and like his voice when he talks since he's deaf and his sort of speech impediment makes he stand out/seem unique. And just to say,Alex is ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) |

| Had a very late 90's, early 00's feel and look to it. Not a bad first episode. I don't think MAL will love it though, the lack of teenage characters might hurt it in the long run. For once, the quiet assassin had an actual legitimate reason to be silent. Loved that. Although I must admit the whole 'katanas are more effective than guns' thing prevalent in anime makes me facepalm. Makes for good spectacle though. |

| Those subs were really bad though like: "I don't like killing women" ---> "Just kill the woman" *Cody speaking random /idk what/ language* "Tagged/Dogtag" ---> " Deaf soldier" "Neutral party" ---> "Natural ones" This seems to be suffering from the Nanatsu syndrome with the bad subs being released and posted on sites before the official ones. And it's even worse now that it's a popular/anticipated show. New watchers will either get the wrong info, be super confused or/and have the tension/mystery ruined for them..... I really can't stand these type of situations... |

| That was...good.Loving OP , although i can see how some people can dislike it.ED is good too tho.Also, Nicolas is a really interesting character, when he started speaking it was like damn, you don't want to make that guy angry. Wish artstyle/animation was better tho. Welp my first impression is 7/10. |

| The episode was a little slow, but overall I'm pretty interested in the series. Mains are badasses and animation/ art is a nice style overall. I didn't read the manga, so I have no concept if this will be somewhat episodic or not, but either way I think I'll be watching. |
