| It's almost a year since the resume of Hunter x Hunter manga but after two months, it came to hiatus again. TG:re is my current favorite manga to supplant my HxH thirst. And I thought, why could not SJ give the reins to Ishida-sensei to continue HxH. I mean: Ishida-sensei is a student of Togashi. Ishida-sensei loves HxH as evidenced by his Twitter posts. They have the same dark vibes and love of anti-climaxes. Ishida-sensei would improve the art of Togashi. So, what do you think? PS: From randomc.net podcast, their choice of mangaka to continue HxH is Arakawa. |

| Nope. I wouldn't want the quality of TG to drop. Considering Ishida would be busy with 2 works. Also this is just hypotheticaly speaking. No one should ever have their work taken away from them just because they're bad with commitments |

Every time he draws a few chapters he feels exhausted. Obviously his a very low energy guy. Leave the drawing to someone else Togashi. Stop being so stubborn. |

I haven't read Tokyo Ghoul manga but the plot of the anime was nothing like I'd want from someone who would take over the reins of HxH. Preferably, Togashi writes it. But if not I want the author of Legend of Galactic Heroes to write the plot of the Dark Continent arc, and then have someone draw it out (now here's where Arawaka would come in because she already worked with the author), then have Madhouse continue animating. |

| I actually prefer the current hxh art over the Tokyo ghoulre art style. Also currently the Tokyo ghoulre manga quality isn't as good as the prequel manga. Having to deal with another person manga will just hinder Tokyo ghoulre quality even more. |

| No. First of all, it's Togashi's work, and it wouldn't be HxH if someone else writes it. Secondly, his wife Naoko Takeuchi is a much better choice for art. |
| No. He's the writer. It's his work. Despite all the BS he makes the fans put up with, he probably takes a lot of pride in doing what he does. But if you're talking about hiring an assistant to do only the art, that would be beyond good since he's clearly not able to do it alone. Does anyone have any idea if he's going to continue it or not? Are there any official Japanese sites/pages that might have some more info? I know I'm beating a dead horse but I die a little on the inside every time I see someone citing the Book Off article. |

| It's only been a couple of months since the hiatus started, he's taken 2+ years off of working from HxH at times, this isn't unusual, why are you guys asking if its dead or over lol? A huge saga just started in the manga. |

| I wouldn't want Tokyo Ghoul's quality to decline, so no. Plus, I am sure that Togashi would never relinquish HxH's authorship. He would rather leave it unfinished than let another mangaka end it. |

| I agree with the general consensus of "no". It's his work and he's worked hard to get where he is, and he's having health issues so it's ignorant and rude to "fire" him or replace him at the drop of a hat. HxH wouldn't be the same without Togashi. Just wait until it starts up again, probably in 2017 or something. |
