| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, the first half of the episode was intimidating with the buildup. I love how they are setting up this battle (despite Megumi still having doubts). Love some of the instructors' reactions in preparation lol. I also love how Soma brings in this confidence atmosphere that seems to have some effect on Megumi too. Because she seriously needs it. Felt kinda bad for Inui this episode though lmao  |

| Not gonna lie, I thought that the judge with the short hair was a guy but what the fuck was that initial ending.....Mahou Shoujo everywhere +Tuxedo Mask LMFAO xD I really liked that they made this Shokugeki a tag team with Souma as the sous chef because this way Megumi will get her time to shine and this way, if Professor Meanie loses it won't look that bad imo Gotta say that his dish looked really good but I enjoyed seeing Souma and Megumi work together and stuff plus their dish looks great too so I'm hoping that they knock this out of the park and get that guy to give them some respect Lol @ how everyone hates his guts for being such a cruel dude lol |

| Those magic-girl transformations from the alumni Chefs are pretty awesome and very funny at the same time. I laughed too hard for that... Cabbage PINK!! lol XD Tadokoro's dish looks pretty though hope it is enough to beat that magical dish, and Shinomiya crying must be a good sign. |
| Just great. Love this show to death right now. Megumi was beyond horrified before Soma could help her. These two are great together and make a fantastic team. The mahou shoujo was HILARIOUS LOL |

| Wow another great episode. The comedy was on point yet it was able to go back and forth with the tense atmosphere really well. I really enjoyed the foreshadowing as well. |

| Awesome episode and the pace seems to be going a bit faster now since it cover 3 chapters.Love Souma as a helper and doing job fast without Megumi telling him.I just notice Gin voice actor was for Kuroyanagi from Yakitate Japan as well, he was one of my favourite in Yakitate and so funny. Shimomiya is definitely a beast as well and love the magical reaction as well and lol at Gin... |

| Greato episode! I was afraid they would split the Shokugeki into two episodes. And I was right. Nevertheless, a good episode. I like how Megumi gained confidence by having Soma as her sous chef. I also liked the flashback of the little Megumi observing her mother in the kitchen. Therefore, it was obvious that she would cook something 'simple'. But - and this will most likely the conclusion of the next episode - sometimes simple things are better than highly elaborated things. @Preview: Shinomiya crying. The title is 'Memories of a Dish'. I think Shinomiya will also have some kind of a 'flashback', which makes him cry. In episode 10 we saw that he has to struggle a lot to come up with new 'recettes'. Maybe he would also prefer to cook like Megumi. Cooking more with heart and less with calculations. |

| Right when I was hoping that they would turn into magical girls my wish was granted XD Hinako was hilarious in this episode. Her being tied up was hilarious. Hinako x Megumi FTW Felt like Megumi crying went for a bit too long but it was still cool to see her in action. Can't wait for her dish next episode. |

| Haaaaaah. I admit it, I gave this episode only 3 stars. Megumi is a sweet, kind, nice girl. I only want her the best. I have no reason to "hate" her or anything. But sorry, I can't feel her appeal. Half an episode wasted on "ooooooo, I'm sooo inferior, I can't do anything right, I will get Souma expelled, booohoo" was too much to catch up in the second half. It annoyed me _immensely_. Sorry. Support cast yes, sure, anytime. Occasional focus episodes on her, aye. But I'm glad that the recent developments indicate that the author has understood that this is her limit, too. |
