| Sorry, noticed the issue right away after submitting the update, then issued another, so a few users were affected. Just redownload the full installer from the website then update, and it'll be fine again. |

| It seems like MALU is having problem parsing this folder location: The anime entry (Gintama) was set to the following folder location: C:\Users\Godel\Desktop\Anime\Gintama 1st Season + JUMP Festa OVA [SHS, Rumbel, Diffusion] However, right click -> open anime folder takes me to C:\Users\Godel\Documents, and it also is unable to find the next episode because of it. This must be an error caused by a recent patch, since it didn't use to have this problem. Trying to edit it again simply shows that the folder location selected is infact C:\..\Gintama 1st Season + JUMP Festa OVA [SHS, Rumbel, Diffusion] Renaming the folder DOES fix it, but still, whatever in the folder name causing it should be identifyed and fixed, unless it's caused by something like sheer directory name length. |

| Since about three days ago the updater for some reason does not automatically update anymore. I'm using MPC plus smart update. Every so often it does work though I fail to recognize some sort of pattern. Any ideas? Edit: Alright, so I did some testing and apperantly some series are updated such as Steins;Gate, but others e.g. Idolmaster, are not. I tried to reset all settings, rescanned all my folders, but nothing seems to help at all. |

| My MAL and MALU stats are different. According to MALU, I've completed 213 anime and according to the website, I've completed 214. This is quite a problem for me, since I like to know which anime I've completed for the 100th, 150th, 200th, 300th etc anime. Is there a fix for this? Is this bug on MALU's or MAL's end? EDIT: I've just found out that it's a bug on MALU's side. MALU hasn't registered my entry for the Bungaku Shoujo movie. Is there a way to fix this? |

Season browser has a small bug: As you can see in the image, there is no summer 2011. Also I think, there could be some improvement on server load, if you simply don't let the season browser download all information again, just because you added one show to the list (it's highly unlikely that the season browser data is changed even once a day, not even speaking of a change within a few minutes). Since there is already a reload button, simply block the reload on change and let the users decide, if they really need to reload the browser at all. ;-) |
| Season data files are very small and not used so much, it's no problem at all regarding load :) Summer 2011, if someone wants to volunteer to add the data, let me know ^^ |

| I changed my password because of the hack yesterday. Not line my account was broken, but i strengthened it a bit. And now i just can't login with MALu. It seems the text box for password has a max characters limit, and my password is longer than that, so the last key i press doesn't add to the word... :( |
| In that case, why not simply change the passwort again to a fitting size? I personally would advice to use keepass or something similar. That way you can manage lots of passwords and even can setup when they expire so you don't forget to regulary change your password. |

| For some Reason it won't detect an mp4 file. the name of the file it's "Toaru Majutsu no Index II - 01" the format is MP4 (.m4v) i think the problem may be related to the format of the video cause it detects the rest perfectly. And from time to time i get an error saying coulnd't recognize file 17# I get too an error saying 404 error. Another Error: Access Violation at Adrees 0066FC10 in module "MalUpdater.exe" Read Of address 000000200 As well, when u try to kill the proccess it stays on the background, so it never completly shots the program off. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate. |

| MALU suddenly stopped detecting the Anime I've been watching.. Player: KMPlayer OS: Windows 7 I've tried to reinstall it and reset the settings but it doesn't work anymore. It's not updating... What the hell happened? Please help. |
| I recently had to use ComboFix to move a nasty trojan from my computer; upon using it, a number of programs I used on a regular basis stopped working and I had to remove and reinstall them. MALUpdater was one that stopped working (and it worked right before I ran ComboFix), but I find myself unable to completely remove the previous instance I had of it, both by using the uninstaller, or by reinstalling over it. What I mean by that is that when I use the uninstaller, everything in the folder that MALu was installed to previously is removed, except for the executable file. This executable file remains "open" in the system, even if I attempt to terminate from the task manager. Restarting my computer, and then attempting to delete it again also fails because by the time I can get to the folder it's already "open in system" again. An image showing this is in the spoiler below, Any idea how I can fix this? |

| basically, I just downloaded MALu on my laptop, so its the most recent version, and i tried applying a theme but nothing is happening, and when I right click, and go to "themes" the option to load a new theme is unclickable, and the "Themes Center" keeps saying I have no themes. so my question is, how can I apply a theme? EDIT: for now I have copied the data from the theme files into the theme builder, and it seems to be working well enough as a quick fix, but I'd still like an easier alternative |

| I don't use bitdefender, the antivirus I do use would notify me if it was blocking the application from running, which it has not done. |
