I seriously want a Season 3 like the rest of you all, but it's hard to say since Tensai had already announced that there's possibly no Season 3 because Yin might be dead. :(

Then again, I could really put my imagination to deny her death since in the OVA, Hei accidentally electrocuted her because of a certain contractor's trick, but she survived it.

I think that could be great !!

I heard somewhere that Bones announced that they WANT to make a Darker than Black season three.

There are still various paths they can take on a new project, preferably how they are going to deal with the new Yin look-a-like, who is presumably the entity of pain and suffering that Amber warned on the message. The point is that there are a hefty amount of unanswered questions.

And I also believe that killing Yin might not be a wise move for Bones if they were to make a season three. Perhaps Hei sparing her was precisely what created or awakened the male Yin, thus is why she told him that it was not too late to kill her.

According to this there's supposed to be a third season.
But the post is 9 months old so I don't know.

The cliffhanger was just begging for a third season. Only problem is that Hei needs a new team. The first season was:Huang, Mao, and Yin. The second season was:Suou, July, and Mao. The third season(possibly):Yin(don't know if she's alive), ???, and ???.

I want season 3 too. just finished the 2nd season and now im so rooting for another season.

i think season 3 should begin with a flashback about what he did in heavens gate and then go through the eyes of his sister so that we would actually know what she's doing
and what happened when that gate dissapeared and of course hei meeting his sis

I think something similar to Gaiden would be great. Like a 4 episode long special or movie that's a prequel to season one. I would really like that, AS WELL as a sequel/season three.

i just rewatched season one and 2 and it is so much better watching it in a row at first i didnt like this season as much but after rewatching it i loved it. i wish they would make another season and im so glad hei finally shaved and put his manly attire back on at the end lol

x2 did the same recently. Season2 is underrated, it's as good as the first one.

Its been 3 years since I watch the anime, and even now I still wish for a 3rd season!

But I agree, a movie would be GREAT to tie up all the loose ends!
I have a ridiculously elaborate theory of how things could pan out in S3.... heh.

It was the same thing with ZnT (well not really but allmost) so just wait patiently and there might be another one.
Honsetly if there isn't (or OVA at the very least) I'm gonna be pretty fuckin' pissed. This ending is so confusing. We are shown a couple of images with no explanation at all.

OH,seriously,there are way too many unanswered questions ins2,they have to make s3.

Just finished season 2, as everyone else, need season 3! although I don't care for Hei, it's more likely to do with Misaka and her new team. And what happened to Yin.

I think That suou and July were transported into the new world shion made.

ahh so much left unanswered, need more!
