| From what I can gather according to the small novels the anime is based off in japan there's more to come after series two. I also heard it somewhere that series 3 has been confirmed. And I mean come on. With the likes of an ending that series 2 had of course there's more to come with sword art online |
| season 3 will come out earlier or later because of how popular the series is. It hasn't been confirmed yet though. There was 2 years skip between the first and the second season, so I expect it to come in 2016 :) |
| Anime don't really rely on cliffhangers to be a way of telling you there's a season 3. It all depends on sales of the anime itself. SAO seems to be doing quite well though so I'm not too worried about the series being cancelled... I didn't like season 2 as much as one though because I prefer asuna and kirito both being the main instead of 1 of them being the main in each arc paired with someone else. All in all though im excited. |
