| There actually are some people that spend more time watching Anime than anything else, but some of the users are lying. I could never see myself watching that much Anime. I imagine I'll complete up to 800, maybe even 1000 one day, but 2000+? I doubt it. |

| It is possible, i watched anime super actively only in my first year on MAL. That's the same time i started watching anime. Since that, there were times i haven't watched anime at all for months (i played Aion) and i watch 3-6 episodes a day top recently. That resulted in almost 1400 completed title with 273 days. But FGAU is here to meltdown the forums, i doubt he watched anime for 4.5 years , or did read 7.8 years worth of manga. Like look at this dude with 92.000 days of anime and 10.000.000 days worth of manga. I remember there was a "top user" button back in the days. Which was removed, obviously because of people who added everything , in order to be on the top, like every single anime in the databse. In the end, no one cares. This is not a race, i feel pity for those who want to use their list as their epeen. |

| Well, if you watch 13 episodes every day (AKA 1 anime), you'd need about 22~ years to watch 8k Anime (if they're all 13 episodes, and I didn't consider that you can watch more than 1 Anime per day). |

| 7-8k Anime? I mean let's say the average Anime is only an hour, this is to be super conservative, that would be 312.5 days if they watched 7.5k. The average would be way more than an hour. That would equate to years of watching Anime. People need to sleep and eat as well. Even if they live in a room with 0 responsibilities, it doesn't seem too likely. Sadly I'm sure it's probably not a lie for a very small minority but I doubt it's true for the majority. |

| Some people don't believe I've seen as many as I have (2.5k), it might be possible if you only watch shorts, ova's, movies and commercials, but a large portion of anime is T.V and those take awhile to complete. |
