5 days for Kyoto seems excessive. And so does 9 Days for Tokyo.
But thats just my overall view.

Did you ever leave the cities and go to other places, Like Osaka, Nagoya?

Also if you wanted to avoid rush hour, you should have gotten on the train as early as possible.

To finally get to experience a country I had wanted to visit for many years. Feels like a weight off of my shoulders. I wanted to experience both the modern and ancient culture.

No Osaka or Nagoya. We avoided early morning Rush Hour, but I was referring to the nighttime rush.

Odaiba for sure. I seriously felt like I was in the future.

Not sure if I really had a favorite food. I ate Ramen the most and if I lived in Japan it would definitely be a big part of my diet.

How much people truly value others and their own country. Sometimes in America it feels like people are only looking out for themselves and a few close people. It felt like Japan was more of a society that cared about the society as a whole.

The most inconvenient thing was easily the lack of English.

I can't speak Japanese, so I spoke in English. Not many people spoke English and if they did it was very limited.

Weirdest thing was easily the Robot Restaurant.

Yes, their Subway is fast but can get really crammed.

Not really sure.

I saw plenty of couples, but we are talking about about a massive city. I saw plenty of guys that seemed to be lonely.

GGeo said:

Climbing a random mountain and finding a small shrine on the top. It had one of the most amazing views and had a light conversation with a monk.

Taxi yes, Pasmo yes, Pan yes, plenty of convenience stores, and yes I did bow. Rest is a no.

I bought Famicom, Super Famicom, and 1 DS game. I don't have those systems modded but I plan on buying the consoles. DS is already region free.

I bought a bunch of Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, and Rockman titles among several others.

No idea how much an interpreter would cost, but that seems like it would be quite a lot. It really depends on what kind of trip you want to have and how long. You can get lodging and food for a reasonable price, plus round trip tickets aren't that expensive right now.

$3k not counting all the stuff I bought but I consider that a separate cost.

Yes, but I was trying to be funny. Besides some girls giggling around me, the only time I was actually "laughed at" was at the Ghibli Museum. A little Japanese girl saw one of my tattoos and pointed. She started laughing and so did her family. I had a laugh as well, so it was no harm and foul about it at all.

No, but I did go to the red light district. It is the least Japanese place in all of Japan. Tons of rude and aggressive people. Also, there are a bunch of black (African) people there.

Okay, so were there only black people/African people in the red light district or were they in other parts doing their thing too?
Also, African American/European or straight up African, fresh from the homeland?
How were they received?

Recently got back from Japan after being there for a month. I'm fairly sure that majority of them are Nigerian and they seem to blatantly target foreigners. Go to Roppongi after hours and you can be certain you'll be stopped every 20 meters by one of them "asking" you to come to their club for tits and beer. Once you refuse, their go to line is "Wanna come meet Charlie and the boys" Code for "do you want to buy cocaine"?

Templar, but it wasn't that she just straight up laughed lol. She pointed and then her dad pretended to be a knight. We all laughed together. England has always been my favorite historical country. Love the history, culture, sites, football, and accent among other things.

They were straight up African. I saw plenty of black Americans and Europeans, and they were just like anyone else. Extremely pleasant and there to have a good time. I saw them in other places as well. They wore typical hip hop clothing, were way more aggressive than the Japanese, and for the most part it just felt like they were out of place. I remember the one time someone actually pushed me (not accidental) was an African man. I was about to deck him, but I calmed down and thought about the consequences. Nothing against Black people at all, like I pointed out with the European/Americans, it was just the African immigrants. There were actually Africans who were tourists and they were clearly distinguishable from the immigrants. They were very pleasant as well, so don't make any overall judgments based on skin color.
