 The official website of the currently airing Spring 2015 series Nisekoi: announced that the spin-off manga Magical Pâtissière Kosaki-chan will be animated in the eighth episode. The cast of Nisekoi: will reprise their roles as alternate versions of their characters, and Kana Hanazawa will sing the opening theme song "Magical☆Styling." The episode will be broadcast on May 29.Magical Pâtissière Kosaki-chan uses an alternate setting where Kosaki Onodera, whose family runs a Japanese sweets shop, is transformed into a magical girl. The manga has been serialized in Shounen Jump+ since December 2014, and the first volume will be released on June 4. | So what do we get after Haru’s introduction? A random episode from a Nisekoi spin-off manga, as if the series didn’t have enough fillers already. As I said in the Nisekoi forums, this is pretty disappointing (even if it’s only for the first half). Just make that into an OVA instead. |

There really isn't any need to shorten it any further through side stories. |
