| Can't speak for everyone but I will just say that it's because of different opinions. Maybe more people on the forums you mentioned enjoyed it more than people here :) and as you say since it's stuck between two super serious arcs which people find more interesting it became underrated |

Personally I prefer it more since it was more of a traditional type of arc (for battle shounen standards) Liked the training part,liked Biske as a character ,the villain had enough of threatening factor while not going completely overboard in terms of power scaling (*coughMeruem) ,the doge-ball part was fun,had the right length to it. Just a overall enjoyable arc,shame that it went all downhill afterwards... |

| While I admit that part of my disappointment comes from it, being after Yorknew, and when I watched years ago, I thought the phantom troupe story will continue in it. I still think, it's an underwhelming, boring arc on it's own. I think I've started to dislike Gon in it. |

| A lot of the aspects are pretty uninteresting, that's why. The villain, most of the secondary characters and the conflict. It doesn't help that it follows Yorknew either. |
