 A scan of the latest issue of Hobby Japan magazine, released on April 25, announced that Queen's Blade Grimoire will be adapted into an OVA. Comprised of two disc volumes, it will be bundled with the release of the next visual combat book of the Queen's Blade series in Fall 2015. The project is made to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Queen's Blade. The staff members from the first season, Queen's Blade: Rurou no Senshi, were also announced to return.Queen's Blade is a series of visual combat books first published in 2005 by Hobby Japan. Queen's Blade Rebellion succeeded the original title and then was followed by Queen's Blade Grimoire. The series received three TV anime adaptations, four manga adaptations, three light novels, and a video game adaptation. | I do enjoy queen's blade and more episodes is always welcomed I wish if they release 2nd season for Rebellion because the story feels incomplete |
| So the synopsis sounds super-dodgy. Like the beginning of a semi-sexual blackmail film which results in Stockholm Syndrome. I think I'll give this one a miss. |

| The first two seasons of Queen's Blade where good, the last one not so much. That said I'm looking forward to this. Even though it's mindless Ecchi most of the time, it has it's moments and some of the characters are likable. Also looking forward to seeing what they do with the soundtrack this time around. This series has a great OST. As usual MAL user base makes it clear how much they dislike the Ecchi genre and prejudge shows like this without actually watching them. Not that I'm saying I would recommend this to anyone that is offended by half naked women. It's really not as bad as most people make it out to be. |

Joke aside, I think the art has become less and less of the original QB art. The art looks great without a doubt but she looks more like Alice in the wonderland than anything else. |

That's because she is Alice. All the characters in Grimore are based on classic literary figures. They also have Little Red Riding Hood (named Zara), Princess Kaguya, Gretel, The Little Mermaid (named Tiina), Kintaro (named Goldie), and a few others. :) |

| Oh good to hear. I love the series actually. I thought ti would be bad at first, but I'm shocked. I didn't know Rebellion did bad. My friends and few others have been telling all the epic things that happen in it. Well I gotta check it out. I still gotta catch up with Rebellion. I finished the other two seasons. Reina is a little mary sueish but likable. I don't see why people trash this when there is much worst. |
