| So Haruhime really joined. Somehow, i think it would have been more interesting to really have her "soiled" as she was calling herself, rather than being a misunderstanding. The tone of that volume was quite more mature than the previous one, indeed. That run in the street again was almost comical considering what was as stake though x). Bell's worst nightmare ever I'd say :D. And Hermes was lookign at that amused, damn that guy~ A lot of focus on Mikoto in this one, for the first time, and that's welcome, because she proved to be awesome. That attack in the smoke, followed by the suicidal attack, woot. Even Ottarl recognised what she did there, and I don't think it's easy to have his acknowledgement x). Rather than Bell's final fight, I think the most interesting part of the battle after Mikoto exited the scene was simply Freiya's familia members attack. I knew her familia was strong, but are all those 7 (the cat people (confirmed), the 2 elves/dark elves (confirmed I think?)and the 4 pallum) level 6? With Ottarl on top of this being the strongest being in the city? Suddenly, Loki familia almost looks weak, they are clearly one level behind , literally. The poor level 3 were crushed like flies one after another, how frightening. I "almost" pitied Ishtarl's only level 5 at the end, despite all her deeds >_<. Honnestly, not sure than just moving up of a level for everyone would have been enough to take on such ridiculous forces. Ishtarl only had one 5 and one 4 after all, so all others would have moved up to 4 at best with the boost... |

| I know it's really interesting. I didn't expect the series to get this dark, exploring the pleasure quarter and the slavery in Ortaria. Poor Bell, having to bear witness the poor Haruhime. Though for some reason I'm really getting irritated at the Gods trying to win him over everytime. There's the silver haired Goddess, Apollo, and now Ishtar. And for some reason I feel like the 200Million debt was used to troll us. I was like, yay Hestia Familia is getting new members, and there's even the flag raised by the two ex apollo members, and then next moment mikoto comes and then boom. All gone. That was a really wtf moment, kinda funny, but really abrupt. |

| Done reading. Everything just flow beautifully. More bell's fight scene brought more joy to us reader. And more insight towards other familia. interestingly, the last few chapter in this volume, two or three major scene played at the same time. The illustration of angered ottar and his fight scene with phryne, I just could not imagine how epic it would be if animated, not to mention the top eight freya's familia surrounding phryne in her last moment. |

| One of my favorites volume yet, if not my favorite. A very different feel from most of them, the writer was bold in writing such things, this is what I would expect from a more mature work, not in something that always felt more for "all ages", nonetheless it brought a bit more deep to the world, also being positive to have the writer, not shying away from a bit of a reality check now and then. Haruhime is a very cute character, her first interaction with Bell was so adorable to the point of me putting her in the same tier of Aiz in terms of romance, while later scenes with them 2 weren't as interesting, but I m still cheering for her, she as a lot of potential~~ The number of the woman wanting that D was exponential this volume, damm. TBH if I was Bell or any other man, everyone, aside from that ugly fucking frog, I would go for a few rounds eagerly, Othar should have killed that freaking frogbitch too. A goddess who likes to "devour" males, seems great to me. Ishtar dead was pathetic, she jumps, Freya gets out of the way and she nearly falls that "cliff" then is given a push... LAME. Probably the longest volume too, with quite a few reveals. Definitely my favorite, versus the ones previous to this, as I felt that, nothing really happening on vol4, vol5 was great at the start and middle, then subpar ending (also Argonaut too OP, needs to be nerfed). Vol6 was better, but also dragged at some parts, and since I m already reading 8th, I gotta say, the first part is really boring, dislike what the writer is focusing for the first chapter there. Heard quite a lot about vol10, have some hype. till then, vol3 and 7 will remain my favorites. |

| The best book so far. Orario gets expanded upon (felt too much like a village) and the dark/seedy side of society gets explorer. Bell keeps on his heroic path and his friends and allies prove their worth. I think Mikoto is arguably the most exciting addition to his familia. She can take the fight to the enemy and is the only one besides Bell thats any good solo.Haruhime is a good addition too though. Our boy finally got a look at what sex could be, but virginal Bell will probably remain that way throughout the story. Another character would find a hot amazon like Aisha irresistible. But Bell can even say no the Goddess of Beauty Ishtar herself. One thing I don't get is why the author writes sometimes that Loki is the strongest familia and then writes that Freya is the strongest familia in the next volume. It's like he forgets what he writes. It's pretty obvious that Freya familia is a notch stronger, specially with Ottar as the only level 7. Not to mention they're ruthless and Freya is much more intelligent/sophisticated than Loki. |
