| I'm currently building a Club that lists all the out of print English licensed manga as I didn't see one here on MAL. Licenses that were cancelled due to poor sales do not count. An example is Gintama. Also series that were reprinted such as Parasyte are exluded from the list as well. Any help is much appreciated. |

| Start with anything released by any of these that weren't later rescued by someone else: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_manga_publishers#Defunct ... although technically some of these were never "in print" in the first place as they were only ever available digitally. Also bear in mind that some series may go out of print or seem to go out of print for years only to then get a new print run (or a new edition). Furthermore, bear in mind that some series can be easily and readily available for years after they go out of print. Plus there's the fact that series can be in print for some volumes but out of print for others. And publishers don't always let you know whether something is in print or not. So good luck. You'll need it. |
