| Im a Higurashi fan and therefore I started watching Umineko (Yes, I heard its bad, etc..) and I am currently at episode 9 (so, no spoilers please) and I just wanna confirm some information: Umineko has - like Higurashi - 4 Question and 4 Answer Arcs. The anime only covers the Question Arcs and therefore gives no answers at all. There wont be a 2nd season that will cover the answer arcs. There are 8 mangas. Are they equal to the arcs. So, is Episode 1 the first arc, etc... And now finally, can I experience the whole plot, including the solution, when I read the manga after I finish the anime. |
| I don't really understand what you are asking, it kind of sounds like you explained it all yourself. If you read every manga that is out, then yes you will get all the answers. Though honestly you should just read the VNs. |
| You're right about everything, so to answer your last question there: It's not all translated yet, and honestly, the EP7 manga seems to be... a bit stalled? EP8 has been getting a good amount of translated chapters, so that's cool. But EP7 is very slow it seems. So yea, like Gar said, it'd really just be better for you to read the VN since that's completely available right now. With that you get awesome voice acting (thanks to UmiTweak) and of course the godlike soundtrack. |
