Whoa, why?? "The cause of death was not revealed." Am I the only one that thinks something is up. I mean, 31 years old.....That's so sudden.
Anyway, rest in peace, Cocoa Fujiwara. Inu x Boku SS has been on my plan to watch since forever.

It is really sad to hear that she died at such a young age. I loved watching Inu x Boku SS, and have always prayed that it would get a second season; which seems out of the question now. Although I am a bit worried about her work now that she passed. Recently I had started reading Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shite Ita; started reading it before reading that she had passed away. Will this great manga stop now that she is gone, or will someone pick it up. Would hate to see her great works go to waste an never finish.

The official site of Gangan Joker magazine announced that the author of Inu x Boku SS, Cocoa Fujiwara, died on March 31 at the of age 31. The cause of death was not revealed.

Her debut was a work titled Calling, which she made when she was only fifteen. She chose not to go to high school so that she could draw manga. Fujiwara was a big fan of RPGs such as Final Fantasy, which was quite evident in her works.

Fujiwara's most recent manga, Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shite Ita., is currently being serialized in the magazine, and the last chapter was published on March 20 in the April 2015 issue. Plans for the manga's tankoubon release, as well as unpublished materials, will be announced later. Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shite Ita. recently tied for 19th place in the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2015 rankings.

It's very saddening but it would prove to be more heart-wrenching, particularly for her family, friends and fans if it is her manga that might have resulted in this.

Manga serialization is often said to take a lot of toll out of the author's body.

I just want to thank her for her work in a medium we the fans love indulging ourselves.

There are various reasons why the cause of death isn't made public. Maybe the family doesn't want it, or maybe they simply don't know what happened yet.

Regardless, 31 is way too young to die. She was in the prime of her life, enjoying a successful career, and now that ended abruptly.

Rest in Peace.

Inu X Boku SS was definitely an enjoyable anime, but the latter part of the manga was a bit hard to read. Nonetheless I think highly of the art and the characters!
