| You just knew she'd get hit when Kou warned her to use a safety net, and when Azuma pretty much gave her his weak spot so she would give him pitches that were harder for him to hit. I'm sure she's frustrated not being able to participate in the second round of the tryouts, but... she did say that she was just doing it to test her skills. Hopefully that lifts some of the frustration...? :S So is that female Ryuuou pitcher a filler character? I didn't like her "cousin" and I don't really like her... so yeah, I hope she's not an original character/one from the manga. -_- It would be awesome to see Aoba playing in the Summer Koshien with Seishuu. The jersey number seemed to foreshadow she'd get to play in Koshien, at least... And then there's Wakaba's dream that has to come true, right? :D |

I love all the characters, but I can't help think this will get the characters moving. Cross Game, gotta love how they establish characters for the audience to hate and proceed to show them getting crushed by the main characters we love. Simple and good stuff. |

| So this episodes dedicated to Aoba's tryouts results. it was nice to see the girls from the previous encounter again. Grand, that last Shimano Prick had a sister....ugh Bah "weaker one" get wrecked. I kinda expected the Lesser Girl Pitcher(forgot her name) not to make it Cause i THOUGHT they might go into little more detail with this and Aoba but.... Damn Aoba got nailed and...this will most definitely Shock Azuma considering his last incident with his OWN brother! |

| SHOCKING. 130 kph is around 80mph. I looked up to see what the fastest women's pitch was, I didn't get a clear answer since they all seem to be softball underhand pitches. That hit must have came back atleast 100mph. |

| Whoa, what. I was not expecting that ending. Crap. It's really stupid that a player as good as Aoba can't play in normal games. There's no reason to keep the baseball teams segregated. It should just be based on ability. Still, from a narrative standpoint that ending was a nice play. Not only will it provide an opportunity for good character interactions, but it will also keep Aoba from having to decide between staying at Seishu and joining (or failing to join) the national team. |

| I m worried about her, never though this could happen in baseball, but now that I think about it, the odds arent that small. And the problem is that both use alot of force so of course the ball would be capable of causing alot of harm... |

| oof she got hit! was not expecting that i had no clue the women's baseball stuff was all filler, i think it fits p well into the story. tbh i'd probably be frustrated if we never got to see aoba exploring the option of women's baseball, she's so trapped and useless on the boys' team. but i guess this for sure means she won't join the women's team... curious to see how she is able to play on the koushien, since that is what this anime seems to be building towards i also finally googled what the koushien is since it wouldn't freaking go away xDD they mention it every episode now |
