| It's very normal to be not interested in harem, I don't think those anime are made for everyone. Anime are made for people who can appreciate them and spend money on them. Nobody force anybody to watch anything to begin with, hating is just immature. If they force themselves to watch harem anime that they are not interested in and resulted in a bad experience, they should hate themselves, not the harem anime. |

| Harem is a very gender-specific concept. If your story is designed to get someone of gender A surrounded by lots of attractive members of gender B, audience members who aren't of gender A and attracted to gender B are definitely not being considered all that much. Which... isn't exactly wrong, but the best stories are universal. And if a story has decided that audience members like you don't matter, it's natural to be a little irked. |

| Ive watched good harem shows and ive seen terrible ones. Just because a show is harem doesnt mean you make the mc dumb af, make it as cliche as possible, have the mc running away from all the beautiful girls, take every chance to have him bump into a girl and grope her boobs, or have him be interested in a violent flat chested tsundere. There reaches a point when the level of recycling is just too much and you see zero originality |
