I watched the first episode and dropped the entire series. but im considering to watch it. Is it really worth it? or are there more fillers?
any Amuto?

i got over halfway through the first series, i thought it was good but very repetitive and i ended up dropping it

If you hate Tadamu much, then don't watch it. Rarely Amuto and too many fillers that they don't follow manga.

I'm watching this and providing summary because I like Tadamuto.

I Recommend season 1 and 2... those were just Briiant, I'll even say epic... but season 3, GOD NO T_T... when you develop love for the series ( which I think you will its not as cheesy as it may seem) your heart will be gut out with a spoon in season 3, It was just butchered there TT^TT... I think that even hentai "versiouns" of it showing rape acts of every character would be less painfull to watch than season 3 without skiping any thing...

but again if your not realy into shoujo, cute, romance and all that you might not like even the 1st season at all

the anime itself is still cute, though they focus on the new girl which pissed me off sometimes :X
ikuto is rarely there
and it starts with real people cosplaying ....

i always skipped the real people part which left me with 10 min of anime..

I watched all three seasons of this series and I would suggest you watch Shugo Chara! the first and Shugo Chara!! Doki which is the second season ONLY.

Shugo Chara! Party is trash... I feel like they only made this to continue the series and just milk the entire thing for what its worth and thoroughly ruining the Shugo Chara! name.

The funny thing is.... I tried my hardest to watch this when it was released as I had loved the 2 other seasons. Back then I dropped this somewhere halfway through as I lost interest, I didn't understand the concept of the "extra" stuff before what I wanted to see and found it incredibly annoying. :P (8 years on it was the most vivid memory I had of the series in general, how annoying the party! season was, haha.)

This time around I lost interest somewhere around the middle as well, it felt repetitive, didn't bring anything new to the story, it didn't really begin or conclude anything particularly interesting or important.

I thought to myself, if I skip the shorts, skip the cosplayers and just watched the actual anime part of it, I'd be okay as I'd get less time to feel bored lol.

If it wasn't for Hikaru's character development I would not have bothered to watch it to the end, but this time around I pulled through thanks to him.

I did proceed to read the manga afterwards though and I enjoyed that ending more and I would be more likely to recommend that in case anyone would ask for my opinion. :)

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I finished Doki the other day, and when I read the synopsis for Party I felt physically ill. How could a franchise be this utterly destroyed by cheap marketing???

I'm normally not one to judge a show I haven't seen, but I'm gonna stay faaaaarr away from this one. It looks like it might sour my perception of Shugo Chara as a whole, and all these reviews seem to affirm that idea.

This is the only anime series with over 100 episodes that I’ve ever chosen to watch in full out of choice ^_^

Considering the fact that I will be choosing to re-watch it all again shortly, I’d most definitely say it’s worth it if it’s your cup of tea like it is mine ^_^
