So recently my Logitech G700s had some hiccups with the LMB and I sent it back for warranty only for them to refund it because they were not stocking it anymore. So basically I'm in the market for a new mouse. I've poked around a little and have my eye on a CM Storm Recon so far but what do you guys think? I was hoping to keep things wireless and the g700s was pretty good but I want to keep the price down this time.

Anyway I'm more interested in knowing what mice you guys use right now though and what you think about it.

I'm currently using Logitech G500, but looking to get the G502 this week hopefully.

I love the shape of the G500, I love the infinite scroll button and I'm fine with button placement. So the the G502 is just the logical upgrade for me.

A microsoft intellimouse optical 1.1.

This little critter has last me for around 15 years and still going strong. Most of the buttons are working except the side left button though.

A generic Microsoft mouse I bought for ten euros.

What I want is a very light, simplistic, sturdy and ergonomic mouse that's not too small.

I use the Logitech M-SBF96. I've had this mouse for over 12 years, and it hasn't failed me yet. The buttons began to stick really badly a year or two ago, but I took it apart and cleaned it, and now it's like new again.

I'm a trackball guy. Been using a Logitech M570 for the past 3-4 years. Smooth to operate and wireless. Has a quiet scroll wheel, too. Couldn't ask for much more.

And since it operates on their Unifying software, I was able to tie my M510 (backup mouse) and my K800 rechargeable keyboard all to one receiver.

logictech g600 mmo mouse, makes it easy to use for mmo games and moba games. Pretty much suited my needs when playing mmo with all those buttons only through my thumb. Goes as low as 200 dpi and as high as 8200 dpi. Its a really nice mouse overall.

In terms of mouses in general, it all comes down to what your looking to use the mouse for. If its gaming your aiming for, its best to go wired just because for one it doesn't deal with battery dying on you and two response time on mouse(Though these newer wireless has been making great strides making it not noticeable in terms of lag from wireless to wired hardware). Still, there's many factor involved when comes to getting a new mouse, go your local electronic store and get a feel of them. Might be easy to find what your looking for there :) .

Quite impressive for those who've kept their mice running for 10+ years, the fancy bells and whistles equipment of today definitely wouldn't survive that.

Wow interesting, I imagine there must've been a bit of a learning curve on that at first.

I've the 2014 razer naga, had it about a year i think. Originally got it to play final fantasy 14, but i dont play that anymore. So i don't use the side buttons but it's a good mouse and i like using it. There's always the hex if you don't need mad buttons xD

Idk about the durability of it though, all i know is my friend had one for about 6 years i think before it broke xD

At the moment i can't see any reason to move away from what i have, if it broke i would more than likely buy another.

10 years of continuous gaming usage and still works just as well as it did back in '05.

I don't think 'crappy' and 'german' are ever featured in the same sentence, even if you're using a no-name/obscure brand, enjoy that german-crafted mouse till the end of days. lel.

A normal, plain Logitech G400 I've picked up a few Years ago:

Unlike the Microsoft Mouse I used to have (can't remember the exact Model, but it looked similar) around the same Price of ~30-40€, the left Side is a lot more stable, so that I couldn't have it accidentally crushed in my Hand. It just works and I hope that it will continue to do so for at least ~5-7 Years when I might be willing to build a new Computer.

Same. Mine is black though, but yeah it never stops working and it's better than any advanced gaming mouse I've ever tried both for casual use and gaming

I've had the same experience with the MS Wheel Optical Mouse. They're built like tanks and I can't play more consistently with any other mouse.

Nah, it actually felt quite natural from the beginning, but I guess that could also be because I've used trackballs in the past. I like being able to traverse the screen with just the flick of my thumb, though. And it's easier on the wrist as opposed to moving a mouse across a table, which also reduces wear and tear and means no worries about having to readjust my positioning since I don't have to move it.

You should try it. You might be surprised at how easy they are to use.

Hm yeah, I'm actually quite intrigued by the ergonomics of it all, I always used to think that you couldn't get any real work done with it and it was a chore to use like a trackpad. Gonna have to pop down and see if my local store has any of these to try out.

uh, ok? I don't see how it's a piece of shit, I've been running it on Osu for 3 months now with absolutely no problems. When I first bought it the laser seemed a bit sensitive to dust but I wore it in a bit and that problem is gone now. What kind of problems do you have with it?

Also @thread I have no clue why my mouse goes up to 5700 CPI lol

Is that higher than what it's rated at? Well I don't use a dpi higher than 1200~1400 anyway.

Nah I mean for what reason would you need 5700 CPI I dunno, it seems like it would be pretty fast even on a 4K monitor lol

Oh right yeah, just need big figure to impress gamers. I mean the 8200dpi (I think?) on the g700s was basically a joke since at that sensitivity the sensor was jittery as f and unusable hands down. Some people play with high dpi but how they manage that is beyond me.
