 A scan from the 17th volume of Sekirei, releasing on March 25, reveals that the ecchi harem series will complete at 18 volumes.Created by Sakurako Gokurakuin, the manga began serialization in seinen magazine Young Gangan in June 2005. Volume 16 was published in June 2014 and ranked #15 on Oricon's weekly manga chart. In Summer 2008, the manga was adapted to a 12-episode TV series. | Well shit. I suppose all things come to an end eventually. I stopped reading months ago. I should try and catch up before it ends. Sekirei was one of the first anime I watched when I was getting back into anime. Good times, simpler times. I'll certainly miss it when it's gone. Also season 3 please. |

| Best ecchi anime ever. Which sounds like a low bar to hit, but this is probably the only ecchi/harem series (that isn't Tenchi) I've ever really enjoyed. Hope we see, if not a new anime altogether, more seasons to finish it out. |

| I remember watching the anime long ago. Was good for what it was (ecchi harem with the heroine being a happy-go-lucky genki girl.. with no plot whatsoever), but even the anime felt dragged out to oblivion. I can only wonder how the manga fares.. although mangas usually pull it better in that regard. |
