THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Calm but nice episode. Although it felt a bit lone because they were staying in their room for the whole day of Gakuensai.
Chizuru's imaginative stories were told well, but their realization of the sad story ended up realistic, it failed badly.
I don't know if it was in the Gensaku but Mokyu~ seemed to be popular enough to be featured again :D - and now we know Mafuyu is usually nopan :P
The end was great, how they joined Ken to not make him finish all that work alone :) - honestly, at the beginning I thought Ken should always try to achieve his harem but does not deserve it. But recently his harem is approaching by itself.

Liked this episode because was more focused on the fun side this time. Chizuru's stories were fantastic, the last one was epic =D
The reference to Gurren-Lagann was nice too.
I really want to see the next one, I think they'll cover some really fun parts of the novel and maybe(don't know how) that scene with Mafuyu. I hope that I'm right this time .-.

Well that was a nice episode with some dark humor. Particularly liked the story telling of Chizuru and Ken's whining was great. Mafuyu wears no panties....was confirmed but I find it clumsy on her part....maybe she is clumsy after all. I think the whole council would make good theater plays. The Mokyu being back is a guess that Chizuru is just cute with it. Lilicia's stand failed badly. Liked Mafuyu's emotional change. Also loved how everyone at the end went back with Ken...was really good that part. To me the best part was everyone's kindness (particularly Mafuyu's expression and words) at the end=> Other things were Chizuru's sudden change of expression during one of her stories here:
The dark humor of the council dying in their story....now that would be more depressing then the first half of Railgun #10 but good thing it was a joke only=>
I am not sure what is this but I find it very nice in a artistic way=>
Almost like the one of Kurimu angel in one of the previous episodes except this time it's Mafuyu.

Funny you mention Nyan Koi because the most recent episode had this in it

Also I was wondering if anyone had references to these or if they have any reference value:

Yes Chizuru's story were fantastic but depressing...she does bully Ken a lot in them.

I missed that...where is it?

That must be bad to stay inside for the festival but Kurimu's words when she did a announcement were great! Like them!

It was not bad but I though for a minute it would be good for some theater plays.

That was the best part and I featured it in a pic....I am bad at writing in English so find it easier to use a pic.

Good one - nice references

Best part in my opinion:
Mafuyu wa nan te namae - Mafuyu to omou

haha.. i forgot to say that.. is there even a way for her to forget her name if she's always referring to herself in third person?

I'm pretty pissed that no one subbed this, so I tried watching it raw... definitely not an easy episode to watch with limited knowledge of Japanese. The only reference I really caught was Misuzu from Air... and that was about it. I hope the next episode will be subbed sooner >.<

Thanks, person who gave me this on another site a long time ago, lol.

SS-Eclipse subs just came out.

Anyone else catch the subtle Endless Eight takoyaki reference?

Crying faces were awesome.

FI-NAL-LY.

That took forever to get those subs out, and for a less than fabulous episode, but it was still very nice and the pace was close to perfect, I'm satisfied for now but will the subs always be taking this long?

Is it me or are they just talking a hell lot faster in this episode. Had to pause a lot more than usual >_>.

Chizuru talking in a hyper, cheery voice is weird.
