Every episode goes like this, new stand, struggle for a bit, the stand is defeated, next episode. I'm watching episode 22 and I really hope they change this formula. It's a tragic side effect of Part 3 not really having much of a plot to place importance on any particular fight (aside from the final inevitable battle against Dio). Each fight itself is usually great, but the big picture is definitely lacking, especially in Pre-Egypt Part 3. Just keep watching. The fights do get 10x better and more tense/original/interesting in Egypt, and if you're on episode 22, then you're almost there. |
