 The official website for Shinmai Maou no Testament has announced via Twitter that the TV anime will be receiving a second season. The sequel will be titled Shinmai Maou no Testament: Burst (The Testament of Sister New Devil: Burst) and will air in Fall 2015.It was also announced that a second OVA for the anime will be bundled with the seventh volume of the manga, to be released January 2016. The first OVA episode was previously announced to be bundled with the eighth light novel volume, which will be released June 22. The first season of Shinmai Maou no Testament debuted in Winter 2015 and will finish airing on March 28 at 12 episodes. It is adapted from Tetsuto Uesu's light novel which began publishing in 2012. | It's probably already planned for a split-cour in the first place just like Tokyo Ghoul although this will air in Fall instead of Summer, most likely because there's a lot of ecchi anime already announced for the season. This Summer will be one hot season lol. I'm okay with this news as long as they improve the art and the animation for S2. | YES THANK GOD!!! I was wishing for a second because most good animes always end with only one season like Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero. I'm very proud that this series is getting the attention it needs. And I can't wait and see what happens in volumes 4,5,6, and 7 because I saw all their illustrations on Baka Tuski but the real question is how much their going to censor? Because not only that Basara is getting more girls in his harem army but how far their going with the Master-Servant pact? The Master-Servant pact gets more lewd in every volume till the point that two of girls in Basara's harem will give Basara a BJ and an orgy. I'm interesting to see how their going to that. However this new also piss me off because while the second season comes out this Fall 2015, the first volume of the manga version comes out next year in February. But other than that I'm really excited to see more of Kurumi! |

This type of show will always be made as long as the elite anime watcher who chooses selective quality series buys their BDs. :^) True lol. But I meant that there's more borderline-H series being adapted now instead of your usual mild ecchi series. Maybe there will be a full-blown H in glorious 1080p next? xD |
