| The series that I’m more looking forward, at least for the time being: - Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku (watched 1st season, will watch 2nd season. In all honestly, I never expected this series to continue, mainly because it was done by Brains Base (they rarely make continuations for most of their works). I hope studio Feel does a good job with it though) - Denpa Kyoushi (I’ve never read the manga , but if I end up enjoying this I might. Anyway, this series sounds like fun; a science-genius-otaku-NEET-character-forced-to-work-as-a-school-teacher-by-his-little-sister sounds fun enough for me to give it a try) - Plastic Memories (original series are always welcome. For what I’ve read and seen so far, it looks like I might enjoy it) - Ore Monogatari!! - Nisekoi: (watched 1st season, will watch 2nd season) - Punchline (I always try one of these nonsensical and ecchi anime series every time there is one. Being an original work is a plus for me) - Ninja Slayer (I like the art style, so I will be checking this one. I just don’t like it is an ONA instead of a TV series. Hopefully it will be longer than 5 minutes per episode) - Kekkai Sensen (reading the manga, so I will be checking this one for sure) - Owari no Seraph (I found the PV to be interesting, so) - Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works 2nd season (watched 1st season, will watch 2nd season) - Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo (reading the manga, so I will be checking this one as well. The whole 12 episodes is a bit of a turn off though) I’m hoping that I’ll have the time to watch most of these shows, but then again, I doubt it. For matter fact, I would definitely like to check most of the series listed in this topic (if possible), but that’s just way too much and tad unrealistic (at least not right away). Anyway, looking forward to this upcoming season. There is variety for every one that’s for sure. |

| Lots of these shows look kinda boring... I'm really only excited for 4 things, one of which is a sequel :/. Haven't seen most of the series that have sequels airing this season, though, thankfully. |

| Cheers for going to the effort of listing everything with videos. Saved me a lot of time. There are a few 'honourable mentions' I might try if bored, but only these stood out as MUST WATCH material: 1: Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku The lovingly cynical prequel was a breath of fresh, relatable air in the school/romance anime NO genre. The only series I'm truly looking forward to. Will have to rewatch S1, though. 2: Owari no Seraph The source material itself doesn't look anything special (/vampires), but it's the latest Sawano soundtrack anime I NEED to now check out every season. I still was considering leaving it, but my god... the animation looks movie level. Even the artwork looks really sharp. Wit Studio were notorious for inconsistency with Shingeki but I truly would've assumed the trailer was for a movie, had I not known. I'm sold! 3: Ore Monogatari!! I actually have v1 of the manga of this sitting unread. Madhouse aren't quite the A-brand of quality they once were, but the visuals don't look terribly cheap and have that recognisable MH colour palette/style. Looks good. A shoujo that MIGHT be amusing with its ugly guy aspect, created by MH = YES! 4: Arslan Senki (TV) The CG looks Berserk movie level, which is not a good thing. But a medieval war epic, drawn by Arakawa--hard to say no to that. Like with #3, I have the manga sitting unread. Hopefully watching this can motivate me to read it. 5: Kyoukai no Rinne Rumiko Takahashi. For her art and humour alone, I'll give Rinne a chance. It strikes me as being closer to Takahashi's more retarded offerings than Maison Ikkoku, but I'm willing to check it out as an anime. |
