| Awesome episode. It's really starting to heat up. Love Izaya in this too! But am I only one who thinks that maybe it really wasn't Izaya talking with Akane? It really didn't look like him in my opinion, and they never showed his face... But I'll go to check the next episode to find out, hopefully. :D |

I thought this was a pretty decent episode but x2 seems to put more emphasis on teasing rather than delivering, and I don't feel like that there has been much worth noting so far. Akane's backstory was great and I'm interested to see how her character shapes up, and it's nice to see Izaya clearly planning bigger things in future. Mikado doesn't bother to think ahead and constantly gets himself in trouble and I can't tell if he's acting on emotion or if he's really just pretty clueless - he had more backbone in S1. I don't expect this cour to wrap up with anything other than a cliffhanger but I'm hoping that cours 2 and 3 are better paced as I'm not really impressed with this cour overall. It isn't bad, I just feel that it's very underwhelming. I agree. The animation has downgrade too, and the pacing has changed. |
| I always thought Akane's got a really adorable voice so I did some research. Turns out she share the same VA as Hawk from Nanatsu no Taizai! damn! I love Hawk's voice! wtf was that creepy laugh at the end? lol! |

So, Akane in normal clothing looks more like a little girl. That "Izaya" tho... what is going on here? Sure, it's logic that he sent Namie first as a grown up man with a little girls would have been very weird... but still... Shooter got depressed! xD That is new! Oh god, that laugh at the end of the episode, again! xD I love it. PD: I do agree with some people, this first part of the second season (01-12 or, Shou) seems to have a faster pacing than the original first cour of the first season of Durarara!!. Many little plots have taken place but no great scheme. The sense of greatness is lacking in the same level as the first part of the first season. | i'm so sad i'm not excited as i was in the first season. i really like durarara and its Ikebukuro, reminds me a bit of murakami's novels, but this season, something just feels off and i'm not that excited to see the end. maybe it will be better in a rewatch. i only feel in love with the first season after i finished it once anyway. |

| Learnt a lot more about that girl, Akane, and the gang that she didn't realise her family was apart of. Not surprised it was Izaya who was the one who helped her out. Celty is left to look after her since both Anri and Mikado have to deal with their own things now. |
