Guess they want more toriko chapters too adapt so they'll save it for next year :'( |

| Late-night anime operate on a very different financial model than normal television progamming. Usually broadcasters pay the producers to license their shows then sell slots to advertisers. In the case of late-night anime, the production committees themselves pay the networks to carry the shows. Sometimes the producers can sell some of the time to advertisers, particularly toy and game manufacturers, but that usually isn't enough to cover the cost of production. Instead they rely on increased sales of the original material like manga, DVD/BD sales, and sales of ancillary merchandise. |

It is ratio that how many times each prgram recorded and 1st rank(100.0) is used as standard for other numbers. I don't think video recording ratings affect profits right now,Tv stations have started to collect video recording ratings very recently(2015 january) as more and more people start to watch program recorded on HDD and such. Also Video Research(the company where TV stations get data from) doesn't disclose video recording data public right now ,so time-on ranking is from TV maker(toshiba)'s data that collected from 100k TV in Kanto region. TV viewer ratings are official data from Video Research that collected data from about 1000 TV in Kanto region Thanks for answering my question!
