| They're not wrong per se. When the project started they were titled (n). Because 95% of the project was made in (n). The naming scheme changed in 2013 where now they're titled (n+1), so the ones airing in 2014 are titled the 2014. Hence why no 2013 project name existed initially because they jumped from (n) 2012 to (n+1) 2014 system. If you do a google search with set dates you can see various Japanese sources saying that project is title (n) for those older anime. Such as the project's own press releases: http://www.janica.jp/11topics.html#jinzaiikusei20100430 "アニメフェア2010" "Anime Mirai 2010" BUT they have retro-actively renamed the previous projects too in order to comply to the new naming scheme. The old names are now referred to as fiscal years instead and project years are now airing years. So (n+1) is a uniform name for all the project too as of fiscal year 2013. Both names are correct, be it what it was originally named at the time (hence where all the year name synonyms came from) and be it what the name was changed to. I requested the synonyms to be updated two weeks ago to reflect both but noting came of it. Also, the first project is called "Project A" too. |
