Why are there so many complaints about fanservice when there's just as much manservice too?

For example, Fairy Tail.

Why are there complaints about Erza and Lucy having their tits flopped on screen every now and then when characters like Natsu and Gray go full frontal throughout the entire show? Fucking Gray's entire comedy gimmick is being nude too.

There's also bitching about Orihime and her gigantic tits in Bleach but when Renji and his well-defined tattoo'd body appears, there's little to no call outs on it.

Christ and the amount of times when Goku's clothes rip...

Why are people so sensitive when it comes to seeing a shirtless girl but not a shirtless guy?

There's tons of manservice in anime though. You're more likely going to find a shirtless guy without a bra on then you are a shirtless girl.

Having huge muscles or just walking around is also considered manservice, but most people want to be feministic and see that as regular old "PLOT".

Your argument kind of falls apart when you realize that people scream and cry yaoi any time there's two attractive male characters who share screen time.

People bitch about "manservice" that isn't even there.

Not really, if every scene where a girl wears a short skirt is seen as fanservice, a guy with muscles is also seen as manservice.

I mean some anime HAVE manservice but that's not the main focus of those anime, whereas there ARE anime that are solely based on fanservice (KanColle and Idolmaster comes to mind of the anime of the season)

That's what i was trying to say.

In Bakemonogatari, Araragi has to date a psychologically abusive girlfriend to maintain a relationship and he must also get his ass kicked in many many different way to obtain approval among other females.

Name a single guy that Araragi went out of his way to save. There is none because males are oppressed and must fend for themselves to obtain females in Bakemonogatari.

Fanservice and manservice is the same. Fanservice encompasses alot of shit. Be it sexual, gore or moe.
That said sometimes manservice can be used as comedy.

Also bare skind and nudity or even sex scenes do not mean they are fanservice. Garo is a good example of that.

To me fanservice is basically anything that is purely a service for the fans and does not serve the animes story or characters in any way, basically it has no use at all for the anime itself.

Are you implying Ararararararagi, who despite being in a "loving" relationship insists on being involved in the lives of multiple other girls, real & supernatural, despite it having very negative impacts on their emotional state, not least because of his taste for molesting little girls, is the victim in that series?
That's why it's sexist. It's portraying a virtually one sided relationship to be ideal. When it isn't. Also ghosts don't count

I don't see how saving a guy has something to do with getting approval from females. Also, he doesn't get his ass kicked all of the time lol

Also, yes, he saves male characters too.

That's because he wanted to take the abuse in place of Teori to win Ononoki's heart. My statement still stands. Araragi is the perceived "ideal man" that sexists have created to manipulate men

Oh boy, where to start.

1. No, there isn't just as much "manservice" out there as there is regular fanservice.

2. One dude without a shirt does not manservice make. Do you seriously think something like this would make a girl wet?

It might get like 3 or 4 women in the world hot, but the vast majority of women do not find that shit attractive. It's solely for comedic value.

3. The primary reason why people complain about fanservice isn't "b-but muh sexual objectification!" It's just that fanservice panders the lowest common demonimator, plus it can detract from a good scene and ruin immersion. There might be a few feminist twats complaining about how fanservice is patriarchal or whatever, but those people are the minority.
