Yay, I'm once again the first to reply ^-^
For a long time, Marmalade Boy has been my favourite! no, wait...maybe it'll stay my favorite for life?
i appreciated a lot Mint na Bokura, kimi shika Iranai....and Handsome na Girlfriend (i'll never get to read the end.. -__-) is a fantastic story! but if I remember correctly, M B was the one who moved me the most.
Her latest works, where the heros are older (uni student in Cherish) or already workers like in Spicy Pink are very good! They keep the same atmosphere, but they gain a different dimension by going into the adults' world.
There's a new work of her that is not yet on MyAnimeList, the title is Happiness, I saw you have a pic of it in the gallery (i can't find how to add a new series -__-), i think i'll like a lot, just like Spicy pink... :)
Thanks for doing the first discussion on this club, Sawa!
Well, I love all works by Wataru-sensei, but I have to say that my absolute favorite is her new series Spicy Pink. It's great! I think I like it best because the characters are older than her previous series, so I can relate a bit more. And her art is amazing, she keeps getting better and better!
And I agree with you, Petite. Marmalade Boy has been my favorite for ages and I still love it very very much!
It is difficult to say. I only read Handsome na Kanojo, Marmalade Boy, Datte Suki Nandamon, PxP, Cherish, Ultra Maniac and Spicy Pink, because they are all out in Germany. =)
I like all her mangas but Handsome na Kanojo the most. <3 Because it was the first manga I read from her. ^^
This month I begin with Random Walk because it comes out. ^^ I like that Tokyopop Germany bring all the Wataru Mangas. ^^
