Well... maybe just maybe, this will be my favourite anime of the season. Lot's of new characters appear in this ep. We get a first glance at the emperor... I was expecting him to be a evil looking/feeling character but, no... If I didn't know the story so far I would have considered him to be a good guy ( still can't rule that option out though). On the other hand that Holy Sage is holy only in name, I'm pretty sure ^^. There's also gonna be a lot more of mysticism involved than I had anticipated it seems, with the appearance of that old lady (that scene at the end makes me think she can get delerious at times lol) and the water people. Very very interesting! I can't wait for the next episode! |

Chagum is the Second Prince, and they said something about the first prince being ill, so I figured what with all the "I loved seeing him run around" it was his sickly bro. The part with Chagum watching Balsa get her bandages changed, and the other boy turns the mat -- that was so funny and adorable. With Chagum sneaking peeks afterward, aww. Healthy young princes will do as they do, I suppose. :-p It was almost sad that Chagum never really got to enjoy all of the ridiculously good food he had the opportunity to eat when he was a prince simply because he was never hungry. Weird to feel bad for someone for never being hungry o.O |

The Emperor was talking with both the star diviners and he gave the order to proceed with goodbye cerimony to Chagum. His brother appeared afterwards and said he was amased how could the order for the cerimony to take place was issued as his young brothers body hadn't yet been found. He was also worried with the mother. Nothing sickly about him :)Agreed for the most part, but... I thought that was his older brother, not the Emperor. I finally got to watch this episode last night. Loved it... I agree with Kayr... this is quickly becoming one of my favorite animes of the season (second only to Darker Than Black, at this point). The animation is just awesome and beautiful... I can't get over how clean and beautiful the animation is... and for ME to notice it, it's good. The characters... well... just awesome... I'm actually loving that young star diviner (is that what he's called?) right now. I really hope he turns out as good as he seems to be right now. My daughter and I about died laughing at how this episode ended!!! "EGG!!!!!!!!" **snicker** |

He seem's a "good" guy but I can't tell for sure...Very enigmatic character ^^I'm actually loving that young star diviner (is that what he's called?) right now. She enters the house like she owns it(she prolly does :P) no "hi, how ur doing?" .. and keeps whining about the egg, while everyone is staring in shock and than she points at Shagum and says "EGG" . Crazy old woman...^^ , I loled...^^My daughter and I about died laughing at how this episode ended!!! "EGG!!!!!!!!" **snicker** |

Cliché crazy old mystic, but I'm glad her head wasn't cut off. I didn't want this anime to be pointless violence. Overall, this episode wasn't bad. I liked that they introduced us to the prince. |

Was okay, introduced some new characters and really brought more of a mystic aspect to the show. "THE EGG," wonderful way to end the episode. |

The old lady has some good moves. But yeah, still in the process of figuring out what is going on as far as the stars and all that are concerned. |

lmao ending part with her saying egg had a nice impact for such a serious episode, and what a pampered prince: "So this is what feeling hungry is like" man ... xD great to see introduction of new characters though, plot is moving along very nicely. |
