| A new anime for the healing Aria series, titled Aria the Avvenire, was announced to screen during an event on September 26th. The type of the new anime is still unknown. Original staff members Junichi Sato (director, series composer) and Reiko Yoshida (script writer) will also be working on the new anime. This announcement is the first part of the 10th anniversary project Ao no Curtain Call, celebrating 10 years since the first TV broadcast. It was up briefly on the official site on February 3rd, but was quickly taken down. The Aria series received 3 seasons, Aria the Animation, Aria the Natural, and Aria the Origination between 2005 to 2008, with several specials and OVA episodes also released. A BD box of the TV series was also announced. It's still visible on some of the screenshots, like the ones on fc2. Nanoha, new Shinkai stuff, NonNonByori and now Aria. 'Tis surely a great year. |

The anime adaptation skipped the prologue, some side-stories, extra chapters about the companies' pets, some stuff between Natural and Origination, but most important, the closure for Cait Sith story. |

I read the manga and watched the entire anime, and you are right, that's why the new anime probably contains original stuff. But I'm sure that quality will be uphold ~ Indeed, anime like Aria or Mushishi are meant to be experienced in small portions, with not more than 2 episodes per day. You're not supposed to marathon the show, simply doing so will make you bored to die because the show's not taking you anywhere, or you'll feel like you've just blown through it too fast. I think the show is supposed to be used like a pick-me-up, only when you're feeling down or want to be feeling happy. I've been watching Aria since 2013 and I'm still not through the Natural yet. |

| I am so happy :D Rather easy to say what will be best anime of 2015 - especially since both Junichi Sato and Reiko Yoshida are working on this.
