Lol, Big O is not underrated. This used to be on Cartoon Network for a LONG time and everybody I know that watches anime have seen it. Even people who don't normally watch anime.

Cyborg 009 is underrated and so is B't X. Lost Universe, Black Jack 21, Virtua Fighter, Ninku and Welcome to the NHK are also overlooked. I also find Astro Boy and Tekkaman quite underrated in the west.

God, I'm listening to the Big O soundtrack right now and it's unbelievable. It's even better standalone than it is in conjunction with watching the show.

This show came on Toonami back then and frankly I never liked The Big O, I didn't quite understand it at all so I started watching Naruto and Bleach. There was another anime I never like was cowboy bebop on toonami as well but after five year later I liked it very much.
