| He's saying that there should be a "like" feature so people won't quote a post without replying to it, or so people won't reply with a +1 sort of thing. I wouldn't mind it unless they added a dislike button too, in which case I'm opposed. |

| To me, this sounds more like linking threads within a thread, like fb or y! It would be cool, but I highly doubt it'll happen. The load times could get outrageous, pretty quickly. If op really meant a +1 or like feature, it could work, but it undermines the point of a forum: to encourage discussion. Paraphrasing 2 broke girls, lists are for slackers. +1s and likes are for slackers without an opinion. The analogy is on the harsh side, but it's worth consideration. |
