Sinbad ch 48 summary:

-The guards surround Sin and co and state that they have insulted the kingdom and the queen and must be punished. Mira tells Sin that she admires his boldness, but like she said, it will be she who will decide. Everything is according to her will. The punishment for defying women in Artem is being tossed into the valley of the dead, and as of yet, no one has come out alive. They'll starve and rot away.

-When Sin thinks if he could only equip a djinn where they can't see them, his and Mira's metal vessel begin to resonate, and so it's revealed he's another dungeon conqueror. However, Mira states that the fact still remain that he ruined her mood, and orders for him and his friends to be stripped of his metal vessel and everything, just in case. Before he's thrown into the valley, the woman who approached Mist tells him that he's her type, and if he makes it out alive she'll treat him to something good...but in any case, there's no chance that they can survive.

-Hina thinks that there's no way Sin and the others will die like that and says that he will come and save them, so 'stay alive until then'. Mira turns to him and tells him that the reason why she kept him alive is that he's from the northern small tribe, and he'll become a research subject. They'll research his body for the advancement of the Artem technology or something like that, and Hina protests, expecting that they'll dissect him. Before the scene shifts to Sin and co, the women drool over his muscular figure.

-Thanks to the moss, Sin and co survived the fall. Jafar starts blaming Sin that they ended up like that, and Sin tells him what's done is done and it would be better to just focus on getting out of there alive. Mist concurs, and Sin then asks him what that woman told him before the fall, but Mist tells him it's none of his business. When Sin begins to nag him, Jafar points out that they are all in their birthday suits, and the leaf scene occur. They start searching for an exit.

-Several hours later, it becomes apparent that the valley was like an animal's cage. They are surrounded by rocks from all four sides, the walls are covered with moss and impossible to climb, and there was no animal footprints that indicate any sort of life in this valley. It occurs to them they haven't eaten since they arrived to Artemyura, and Sin tries to cheer them up that at least they have water, which could sustain them for a few days. Mist then remembers the emergency rations in his turban. He explains since the Sasan knights live in a harsh environment, it's a custom for them to hide some emergency food, also in case they were taken as war prisoners. He gives up his rations to Sin and Ja, and the latter refuses, since it's his, and Mist accepts and eats it. Sin offers his portion to Jafar, saying he's the youngest and he's in his growth spurt, and Jafar declines, saying he was originally an assassin and can go without food for days. Sin then happily accepts it, which earsn him an earful from Mist.

-In the end, Jafar eats the second portion and Sin comments that destiny abandoned him. When he goes to drink water from the spring, he states that he was born in a fishing village and water is his friend that would never betray him. After he drinks, he begins to study the spring and wonders about the source of the water. He then gushes out with some sort of a discovery and says destiny hasn't abandoned him.
