Cry a bit then pick up something else. I'm annoyed that this is happening to me so often, that feeling of emptiness/fulfillment after finishing an amazing manga. I know the logic behind it, but geez, there are just so many good mangas compared to good animes.

Even though I've completed only few, I cry, think of how good the story was/have a little memory run of my favorite moments or best parts of the manga.

And then I find something new to read.

I don't get that void feeling to often. But when I do I just don't pick up any new manga up for a couple of days unless it gives me the opposite effect, then I just read manga that are said to be similar.

Actually, as soon as I finish a manga I think about all the things that in the end make sense. Like "Woooooo! So this was linked with this that was linked with that that would have never happened if that character....bla bla bla" and so on. It just gives me the feeling of getting close to the satisfaction of an author who is giving to his fans the explanation of everything. At leat, it always happened untill now....

Then I start to feel a little bit nostalgic about the time I started reading that manga and the time I spent with it. I feel like I've grown with the characters, learning to love them.

Never wanted for more chapters.. I've always been ok with the ends cause they actually make sense instead of going on just for the sales (like Dragonball GT)

"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" - especially when the manga is still ongoing, an when i swiped the last page of that chapter, and at the bottom it says "Theres no chapter next" (something like that) Makes me soooooo sad =D And i just think how great the manga was.

BUT!!! I do get happy when i just continue to find another manga.

To be honest I get a feeling of satisfaction and a bit of sadness at the same time (especially if I really enjoyed the series). You get attached to the world of that series and when it ends, I get the feeling of emptiness because I'll never be able to see another story with those characters.

I really really get this! Though probably a bit more sadness, depending on the series - I've been on a bit of a romance binge recently so enjoy the ups and downs as I read it but feel a bit sad and empty for a few days after a series knowing that those characters I spent so many hours reading about are gone.

At first I feel sad. Then I feel happy, thinking about all the things that happened in the manga in the past years.
Then I feel empty, missing the manga from my life.
Finally, I can let go and cherish all the memories.

I've only finished 2 mangas until now. So I don't know the feel to well.
But you'll get over it by starting another one.

I said I only finished 2...but there are TENS of mangas on my "reading" and "waiting for" list from mangaupdates.

And I undesrtand the feeling of restlessness and impatience when I have to wait about a month for a new chapter of Ubel Blatt to be released X_X

For me, it's the same as reading a good book. I feel a bit sad because the story is ended, but, at the same time, I feel pleased with it. It's kind of strange feeling...However, either good or bad manga, I move on to the next one.

It depends on the serie. After finishing Ichigo 100% i was extremely disappointed and felt sad for the girl i was shipping with MC (such a dick). I just finished hoshi no samidare and i'm like "AHhhhhh, that was a really good satistfying ending. Let's move to another manga"

I usually feel a sense of accomplishment. Feels good. Especially if I liked it and it has 100+ chapters.

Unless i don't like the ending. That's a different story. Then it's regret.

I have finished so many things: movies, series, mangas, animes. But you get used to it. I just think about the story search for the anime opening and ending and watch that a few times. Or I watch scenes I liked in anime. Then I search for a new manga and start reading it. I never forget what I read and I love the messages that the mangas give sometimes.

Heck, I feel depressed when I'm up to date on manga...when I finish a series with a good ending, I sigh and continue on. When I finish a series with a poorly executed ending, I complain about it for about 5 hours to my friends before moving on.

A mix of a few things : I'm happy it got the closure it deserves. I'm sad it actualy ended. Lots of stuff. It's a very straightforward question and it mostly vague to anwser, for me. I probably want also to reread it most of the time (I can't count the number of time I've read Black Cat or Negima ^^)
