| I still can't see pictures. Users I've talked to state that they are able to see my images and MALgraph on my profile: http://oi60.tinypic.com/2yxmz2e.jpg I still can only see images on profiles that only have one picture in their about me section. That's my view of my profile http://de.tinypic.com/r/33e3486/8 Using Android, Google Chrome. Tried with Dolphin Browser, didn't work as well. |

| My problem is solved. It was my ad blocker who blocked my pictures from showing up. Just changed some proxy settings and ads are being blocked and pictures showing up! Hallelujah. |

| I think the check_url.php is a very bad idea. Given the large userbase I'd rather do this with a JavaScript on the client side. But when I remember correctly, this is a relict of Crave. Hopefully it'd get changed to a JS client side url check. It takes more coding that way but would relieve the server from a lot of stress despite possible caching. Plus, it would give more control over the way images are loaded and when, keyword lazyload. Normal images seem to work properly now but the url check seems to be the "bottleneck" of some sort getting attention now because of the fix. |

| Well, considering how fast the fixed things I believe that as long as this was not intended the new development team will probably fix this soon. It's nice seeing things get fixed fast for once since I joined at least. |

| Has the fact that IMG isn't 100% fixed been addressed by Xinil anywhere? Cuz once you have a huge number of pics (I think 170+?) then no BBcode images will load at all on that part of the page, and on forum threads even other people's posts/sigs won't load if a post under them has too many pics. This is really annoying for users with profiles/blogs/topics full of pics, member cards, galleries, etc. I hope this isn't the way things will be from now on. It also opens up a new exploit where trolls can just waltz into topics and disable every pic and sig above them by dropping a post containing too many pics (an img bomb lol). That would be very annoying for topic makers in the visually creative field (a huge part of MAL). I wonder if that would become something against the rules now. Example: The BBcode in this spoiler disabled every Bbcode pic and sig in the thread for me, above this post, so I imagine its that way for everyone else. Anyways, please raise the limit of pics that can be posted, or 100% fix image. edit: meant to say "has it been addressed by Xinil anywhere" |
