There are many sites like MAL, and I've been working on synchronisation between some. With AniDB, however, it will not be possible.

They have supremely anal restrictions on server use. We'd only be allowed to communicate via UDP, and that API has no commands to return a user's list.

There is XML export, but it is very slow, and the API has no way of checking what changed since the last download. The only thing feasible would be asking the user to never use the web site but only our client.

Hell yeah, your alive :D Whats the Status of the project anyway? Could you do a commit?

Well, in the case of anidb we should just do not support it. Or we do some oldschool html scraping xD
