Nice to see Fairy Tail on top with fab sales from just 2 days, the Tartaros arc was phenomenal, Marineford level good.

No ranked boost for Ansatsu Kyoushitsu yet is disappointing, hope it's getting a good boost below the top 50.

F*ckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk :'(
Well at least it's selling better than half of Jumps current lineup so it's not going anywhere, hope Bambina and a new anime this year boost it up (DBZ Kai Buu Saga is doing HORRIBLE compared to the previous season so it's looking really good for TORIKO).

Alma Toran flashback was so boring, FT beat them in the first week of release.

NNT maintains strong, they might reach another level depending how A-1 will treat the Kingdom infiltration arc.

Seeing a series that originally sold about 200K that's now selling about 700K is really great. Also add to the fact it's Seinen is even more amazing.

Hope to see Tokyo Ghoul sell even more, great manga.

Assassination Classroom doesn't seem to be getting a boost, I wonder if it will occurr later on.

Glad DRRR sequel is still popular. I think its sales kind of affect how seriously producers take the drrr anime adaptations, to a certain extent.

One Piece is the boss. Bow to the God of Manga known as One Piece.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

Still nowhere near where it was back when S1 was airing. Sales dropped significantly since SH started. Hoping this new anime boosts it back up to 100k+ although that seems like a longshot.

People are really shock about assassination classroom not getting much anime boost? You guys have to remember that this series gets a lot of advertisement, plus it sells a lot, way before the anime. I heard some volumes even sold over 1m copies, the majority of people that are watching this series is probably following the manga as well.

So unless this anime becomes a mega hit like snk, I don't see this anime being much of a advertisement to behonest.

The anime will need to be bigger than normal anime series if it wants to get new viewers into the manga.

This is just my speculation I could be totally wrong.

half of you arent paying attention. magi sold the most, not fairy tail. it had a special edition with 60,000 sales as well.

and alma torran was fantastic IMO. the pacing problems at the end were just cause the editors wanted alibaba and aladdin back.

Fairy Tail's sales is actually 3 days of sales. It was released on Jan 16, which is regarded as the 1st day of sales (unless it is released prior, as we see with some releases), and then the data covers to Jan 18, which is the 3rd day of sales.

Probably because most people don't pay enough attention to sales over time to know how good a certain figure is, so they look at the rankings for that week as a proxy indicator.

Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg... and my arm... even my fingers. The body I've lost... the comrades I've lost... won't stop hurting... It's like they're all still there. You feel it, too, don't you? I'm gonna make them give back our past."

These are Japanese sales. Japanese sales in terms of the total Japanese market size has very little to do with the amount getting translated (at least so long as the market is large enough to support a decent number of series at any rate, which it obviously is)
