According to Nyan Type magazine January issue, the production studio of Strike Witches 2 was announced to be changed from GONZO to AIC. They are planning to air the series at the beginning of 2010. GONZO remains to be involved in the anime as a member of the production committee. Source: Scan of Nyan Type |

How sad. When I think "magical military half-mecha kemonomimi weapons expert flying lolis with no pants", I think "Gonzo". :( |

I don't see why anyone would wanna watch a 2nd season of a loli-bloomer anime with a poor plot anyway. |

AIC is basically trying to occupate Gonzo spot in the anime industry now. Once they were doing few good shows per year with very high production value, now they're doing an enormous amount of shows with mediocre production value, of which some are good, and some are...not so good. The problem is that, besides simply making good shows in the past, Gonzo were making unique, experimental and provocative shows. AIC doesn't. Well it's bad news indeed. Hopefully AIC won't fail, and hopefully Gonzo will find something else to animate (Alive, I'm talking about you!!!). |

No No! !!!!!! this is the worst news ever, gonzo hasn't had much highlight in the past two years but why change it when it comes to strike witches .... i maybe overdramatic but i don't know how to handle this. |

Somehow I'm still pissed off with Gonzo because failed to animate Alive :X Doing lots of pointless anime rather than kick-ass show makes them in deep shit. Now Gonzo you have given Pantsu Witches to AIC,when you will animate FullMetal Panic season 3? |
